I wish they had a few more amenities. Only real complaint, one guy "working" the front desk, must be getting paid more to be on his phone and take breaks than to do his job. I don't know his name, probably because he was never there... On the flip side, Kim is amazing! Super nice, works hard, and has a great attitude.

Great midtown hotel in Atlanta. Fairly convenient to the Marta trains 🚆. You can either walk to the Marta station or take the 110 bus to get to and from the station. Breakfast is all packaged items. No waffle maker. I think in the future they are going to further expand breakfast...post covid. It was a great spot to stay for sight-seeing around ATL. It is right across the street from the ATL Symphony. Very safe area...

The sharp knives and cleaning supplies are in baby/ kids reach. Extremely dangerous. There should be child safety locks or put someplace where they can not reach them.

I only give the rooms 3 stars because the hot water was lukewarm at best and it never got fixed. We needed a few other things and they made sure we got it. The breakfast was blah but the staff in there was super nice. Valet sucks because it's such a tight space but they were nice so no complaint there. I'll probably stay again.

Extremely rude. Manager stated the room was left in a bad state. My friend had dye in her hair that bled on the pillow case which is temporary. She could have washed the pillow case. The room was not left in no bad state. I’m more than willing to buy a pillow. It was cheese it’s left on the floor that could have been vacuumed. The manager yelled at me several times than told me not to call the hotel. I would not be treated like this.

My family and I had the most discomforting and horrible experience at this property. After traveling to the midtown area to celebrate the new year and a family members birthday, we decided to lodge at a reputable property to ensure we experienced comfort, convenience, safety and cleanliness. As a Travel agent and Bonvoy Marriott member, I was proud to suggest the residence inn midtown as Marriott properties have never disappointed. To our surprise, None of these needs were met. To begin, the front desk clerk was extremely courteous and helpful. She checked us all in and gave us all the info for the night. Heading to the elevators we noticed many lightbulbs blown that were supposed to illuminate our path to retreat. Not to mention, The hallway had miscellaneous stains on the carpet. The horror started once we entered the rooms. Each of the 3 suites on the hall of floor 5 smelled of mildew or mold. There was complimentary dish soap near the sink which one was half full and the others had residue on the bottles to show they were previously used and refilled. The sofa bed where our kids were supposed to sleep was a nightmare. There were a large number of stains that looked to be old bodily fluids covering the mattress. We were immediately grossed out. Highly considering to check out, we first decided to call the front desk to have the issue remedied(since Marriott ALWAYS delivers). The staff member came to the room and requested to see the issue. She was also mortified at the findings. Her suggestion was to change rooms. She led us to a different room only to find the SAME issue with the mattress. 3 rooms later we found a clean mattress, but the room reeked of mold. Her suggestion was to move the mattress to one of the previous rooms with the dirty mattress. While the staff member was in agreeance of the failed standards of the suites, she could offer to continue to change rooms until we found a decent room. Needless to say, My husband and I moved hotel furniture and our belongings around to 4 different rooms just to somewhat meet the quality satisfaction for our family to stay for one night. We barely slept. The next morning I was allowed a late checkout due to how late we were up handling this matter. In summary, this experience did not provide me with any of the standards I had grown to love and appreciate with Marriott. We paid for those standards and received a lot less than promised. This property needs MAJOR updating to the rooms and better protocols for handling unsatisfied guests. Do not book here!
