Spent 7 great days at this resort, awesome people and just enough activities! 5 star for Customer service and food!

Hotel lindo con pésima atención por falta de personal. Para todo tenés que esperar . 25 min para pedir una bebida te termina cansando... Lo mismo la atención en el restaurant.. y también deberían avisar en algún lado las páginas que lo promocionan como despegar Booking etc que el hotel está abierto a menos de la capacidad que ofrece. La discoteca está cerrada y de los 4 o 5 restaurant que tiene solo está abierto el bufet que es para que te sirvas y tiene comidas variadas y un solo restaurant que va cambiando todo los días . Aunque la pasamos de diez en punta cana y nos encantó Saona no volvería a este hotel. Contrataría otro...

The hotel is the perfect size to allow the rooms to be steps from the beach. Very private. If you want crowds you can go next door and party I received great service with a smile. Clean and good food. I couldn't ask for more.

El peor hotel que estuve en mi vida, sinceramente pienso que las Agencias de viajes sabiendo que el hotel no da los servicios que ofrece en las descripciones de catalogos y webs debería decirlo... Claro está que no venderían entonces nada... Mal servicio, piscinas sucias, personal desagradable y el hotel al 20%.Comida mala.

Hotel semicerrado no recomendable para familias. El hotel tiene en su mayoría las instalaciones cerradas. No hay animación y el miniclub esta cerrado. En el desayuno no tienen ni un triste cola cao, galletas o krispis para los niños y en la cena no tienen ningun menu infantil.Los empleados te intentan ayudar en todo lo posible,pero no tienes que estar continuamente pidiendo favores cuando tu has pagado un hotel con unos servicios,por lo menos te pueden avisar de la situación que se encuentra el hotel por si lo quieres cambiar

El hotel está sucio, cocinan muy mal, el servicio es lamentable y muy poco amable. Haces una pregunta (sobre horario desayuno, etc) y cada uno te dice algo diferente. Explicas tus necesidades y te hacen caso omiso o respuestas contradictorias (por ejemplo, todos nos dijeron mal la información para saber dónde/cómo y cuándo realizar la pcr de vuelta a España), o bien nos dejaron sin desayunar un día antes de irnos de excursión dado que ni nos dijeron a qué hora se iniciaba, y luego nos dijeron que había que pedir reserva con 24 horas antes (habiendo ya comentado esta situación el primer día que entramos).Es el peor hotelque hemosnido en toda nuestra existencia (teniendo en cuenta su consideración como “todo incluido”) y el todo incluido solo son dos restaurantes cuyo menu (poco variado y con muy pocos platos y alternativas), es el mismo durante toda la semana y te acabas cansando de comer siempre lo mismo (y además, cocinan fatal).El personal es muy antipático y te ignoran. Por mucho que llames a recepción no te cogen el teléfono y a la gente le cuesta mucho trabajar. Te atienden como si te estuvieran haciendo un favor y con desprecio.Por lo demás, el hotel en sí también es feo y se pasa unos días muy desagradables aquí. El colchón y las almohadas también son muy incómodos.

Buen hotel calidad precio, la pena es que está todo al 50% por la pandemia ( restaurantes, animación, etc) y claro se repite mucho las comidas y está algo apagado el hotel pero por lo demás todo genial. La única pega es que las limpiadoras hacían carreras con los carritos de la limpieza y eso a las 7 de la mañana no hace tanta gracia.

My family and I traveled to DR for a week and stayed at VIK, and let me start with the bad things. Front desk was horrible, my mother booked and paid for 2 rooms and ended up getting only 1 room. 2 adults and 2 teenagers in 1 small room. When I asked front desk about it the man said, "I don't deal with it call cheap Caribbean tomorrow and fix it" (cheap caribbean another nightmare, another story) the rooms were so musky and moldy smell and worst the sheets were the same. The next day our AC died. Cheap caribbena has d kids stay free under 12 NOPE I paid full adult fee for my 5 and 11 yr old. They also advertise free COVID test on site NOPE I paid $10 per person and when Iasked front desk about it "I don't deal with that" call the company you booked your trip with. (That company said deal with the hotel its their policy) Only two people were helpfull front desk wise, 2 German ladies who were so nice and polite, helped getting us better rooms even though we never got the 2nd one we paid for. The kitchen staff were also super nice, accommodating tables and chairs for our huge family to be able to eat together. Also an amazing person Fan Fan whom we met at the towel and snorkeling service. And the price for the all inclusive hotel at this time when most things they offer are closed due to the pandemic, is overpriced in my opinion! Not much of a variety.

Everything is closed or not properly maintained! I stayed for 3 days and kinda felt like a waste of time! Way overpriced for what they have to offer! Each is dirty and the free drinks are super tiny!

Fue un engaño el hotel está semi cerrado, el área VIP es que más o me O funciona y estaba llena así que nos pusieron en una habitación en un área que casi no había personas, luce abandonado y sucio, la piscina estaba cerrada la mitad y la parte que estaba abierta muy sucia y llena de moho, llegamos a las 5 PM y dicen que el Snack está abierto hasta 6:30 Pm pero estaba cerrado,la habitación horrible, con un olor a humedad terrible, las sábanas pican y super viejas, las cortinas son transparente fue una experiencia muy mala realmente. Creo que deben ser sinceros y explicar todo por la página. El hotel luce abandonado

O hotel está bem desgastado, estrutura fechada em razão da pandemia esta completamente abandonada e suja, parecendo um apocalipse zumbi (vou ver se consigo colocar fotos). O serviço de all inclusive é péssimo! Comida ruim, sem variedade, e sem opção de consumo entre as refeições. Chega a ser trágico você não poder pedir um sorvete a tarde porque isso somente e servido como sobremesa no almoço!!! Hotel de praia no Caribe que não serve água de côco ... sem opção de frutas nocafé da manhã... zero opção de saladas (ou comidas leves) nas refeições... sem suco natural (sério tudo industrializado)!!! Não desperdice seu tempo aqui.

Gostei bastante desse hotel, comida ótima, bem variada, atendimento bom, quartos antigos mais muito limpos e espaçosos, infelizmente devida a pandemia as programações do hotel estão todas canceladas. Acredito ser um bom custo benefício mais sem ostentação.

Have had a great time at VIK Arena Blanca. Well maintained property, clean pools, great service. Please tip the personal, they work hard and long hours. Food was great, especially at Cayena. You have to be realistic when setting your expectations. The resort is on the beach with access to pools and other areas. A week seems to be the perfect. Adventure Land sells excursions within the resort. Helps if you know a bit of spanish, but English is working as well.Rooms were adequate with AC working pretty well. If you don't like something, talk to the front desk, they were very accommodating. Traveled during Covid, did the tests at the resort.

Food was good. Friendly staff. Variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only unusual thing...room had a hint of smell.

We stayed at Vik Hotel and had a very enjoyable vacation. The staff was friendly if you can communicate in Spanish and English. The see weeds were a lot but the other hotels had the same (even worse) problems. The evening entertainment was minimum but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the beach and the swimming pool. We were surprised by the very tasty a la carte food and the friendly service. We went to several day trips, which we booked online. Diving center around the corner. For shopping we took Uber.

I'll tell you one thing that travel agents don't want you to know about. When booking hotels use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They've got the best deals on rooms! Much better than using expedia, tripadvisor, hotwire. No doubt about that!!!Very good and quality food, very spacious, clean rooms, excellent beach and very kind and attentive staff. We really liked it. We will definitely be back 🤗

Muy bien!! El hotel está operando con capacidad limitada en todas las áreas. Una gran parte del mismo está cerrada, por tal razón también tienen un número limitado de colaboradores, sin embargo ellos todos hacen lo inimaginable por dar lo mejor, y eso es algo admirable! La comida es buena, el servicio bueno también. Si buscas fiesta, éste no es tu lugar, no hay animación. Menciones especiales para Melanie en Recepción, Luisa, Fello, Emmanuel y todo el staff de A&B. Trabajan duro esos chicos, siempre dispuestos👏👏👏👏. También a Eddy que me ayudó con el equipaje y Témpora de ama de llaves. En fin, buena relación calidad precio.

4 night stay and was VERY disappointed!! I will start with the good. Good: food was delicious! They upgraded us to an ocean view room which was pretty clean (except they clearly didn't clean the shower from the last guests) and view was amazing!! Plenty of shaded seating. The staff was nice, but most of them don't speak English so thankfully my small amount of Spanish got us by. They did provide some forms of nighly entertainment by way of singers/dancers from 8-10. Covid test on site, rapid results in 15 minutes. Bad: there's a lot, so stick with me. The resort, website, and EVERYTHING we researched about this place were very misleading. 1st, they only have 1 bar, 1 restaurant, and the Cayena side open with 1 of the arena blanca buildings open for overflow guests. Nowhere was this stated but we saw 1 Google review from January where it was mentioned. We tried to call the resort before arriving to check if they were open but were never able to get through. The drinks are TERRIBLE so we stuck with their 1 beer option, you have to pay extra for any alcohol that's not their "classico" brand and we tried gin, tequila, rum, vodka, ALL had a bad taste! They do give you 2 beers in your room but you are limited to 2 a day in your room. The amount of seaweed that washed up on the shore was unbelievable, though they tried to have it cleared off by 2pm using construction equipment that was pretty loud.also, we booked an excursion to Catalina Island which they staright up lied about transportation times telling us it would take an hour and a half to get there and same to get back (took 3 hrs to get there and 4 hours to return). Catalina Island was beautiful and the snorkeling was great but honestly not worth it due to transportation and when we told them about it the next day they didn't seem all that surprised. I understand some things being closed or only partially available due to covid, however, they SO pick and choose when to follow protocols. Like, How are you going to pack a bus load of people for an excursion (and boat load) but then not offer your water sports that are on your website due to covid restrictions? The vendors on the beach are relentless! They are supposed to leave you alone if you are not ON the beach (sitting in the lounge chairs just off the beach) but of course, they didn't. You can only say no thank you, or I already bought something, so many times but they keep bugging you. They had security but it seemed most of the day security was at the parts of the resort that were closed. Food times were restricted to certain hours but you could get a pizza or a burger from the bar between those times...it just wasn't very good. Side note, just for info, you cannot snorkel on this beach. THIS BEACH IS NOT PART OF BAVARO BEACH - even though what we booked through said it was. It is on the Atlantic side so it has more waves which stir up the sand so you can't see anything for snorkeling. They didn't really address any complaints or concerns when they were brought up, just kind of stared at you like...ok? For the price we paid we expected to get a lot more. Wish we would have booked the Barcelona bavaro instead as they were fully open and we talked to a few guests who were loving their stay there. We just felt deceived and misled the whole time and like they didnt really care about providing a resort experience. Will not be going back .

The Chef in Restaurant was very rude and his english was really bad. On the 4. dinner in the Hotel in Restaurant i came in a tank-top because i had a pretty bad sunburn and i went actually every evening in the tank-top in Restaurant and nobody told me that's forbidden to come in the tank-top to the dinner till 4. day. I asked the Chef why is it allowed for the women to come in a dress with big cleavage to the dinner and for men not in a tank-top. He was just speaking something about the rules without a clear explanation. Such a pity that the people who have a big "position" like him can't speak english and explain you why they have this rule. On the next day's that we came in the Restaurant he ignored uns and didn't even welcome us. That was very unprofessional from him and because of that i would never ever go to this Restaurant Trattoria.

we arrive at the hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning. Thanks to the lady at the front desk who checked us in, we received the room immediately and also served breakfest. we are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) so we received a room with 2 sleeping spaces, one with a large double bed and one with a sofa. the furniture is a bit old, but the rooms are spacios and the view to the garden and ocean are beautiful. the wi-fi worked intermittently in the first days, we had to go out on the balcony for the signal, but then it worked perfectly (i cant explain what happened). we only ate "a la carte", the food is delicious. the drinks are like any "all inclusive", the beer in the dispenser, juices not so great. but the food, delicios... the staff is very polite and helpful. due to the pandemic situation the occupancy rate was 30%, so there were plenty free sunbeds on both the beach and the pool. unfortunately, the clubs, casino and entertainment were missing but the scenery on the beach is wonderful. I walked on the beach at other hotels and the beach at VIK is the most beautiful, with palm trees right next to the water. on the last day we checked out for free at 3 pm, at 6 pm we went to dinner (they didn't take our "all inclusive bracelet") and then came the bus that took us to the airport. to conclude, the price wasg lower than at a 5 star hotel and the services convinced me that if I had to choose again, I would also come at VIK Arena Hotel.

I loved this place so much!went here in 2019 and the pools were the best! I loved the snack bar but there just wasn't enough food options for vegans or vegetarians

Você encontrará vários hotéis melhores, mas pagará por isso. O VIK Hotel Arena Blanca possuí uma boa localização e um excelente custo benefício

Comida boa, tudo simples. Ótimo custo benefício! A única coisa que eu não gostei foram os sucos. O resort é pequeno comparado com os demais, mas isso é bom pois você consegue conhecer tudo andando. Esse Resort tem a vista mais bonita para a praia. Funcionários sempre muito simpáticos. Recebe muitos americanos e russos. Sempre tem uma programação especial no teatro a noite, e durante o dia a equipe de lazer fica na piscina.

PÉSSIMO ATENDIMENTO AO TURISTA!!! Compramos um pacote de 6 dias através de um site de viagens. Um mês antes, depois de vários emails, responderam, confirmando que a reserva estava tudo ok. No Check in, chegamos cansados de uma viagem de 10hrs e o gerente da recepção Ricardo Reyes Nunez, sem perfil nenhum pra trabalhar com gente, disse que não encontrou nosso pagamento no financeiro, nos OBRIGANDO A PAGAR NOVAMENTE com cartão de crédito e a moeda local deles quase todo o valor da estadia....senão NÃO nos deixaria entrar!! Um descaso total, eles não estão nem aí pra turista brasileiro. Fiquei super chateada e acabou estragando nossa viagem. Depois de pagar, pois não tinha pra onde ir, num país estranho, mandei e-mail pra Deus e o mundo, e no outro dia pediram pra retornar a recepção pra estornar o pgto. pois o staff tinha achado o crédito no sistema deles. Resumindo, por causa da variação cambial, na minha fatura foi debitado R$150,00 a mais que o valor do estorno....reclamei e eles nada fizeram! Gente, o que eu passei de nervoso, não desejo pra ninguém. Recomendo quem for a Punta Cana, pagar um pouquinho mais, mas ficar numa rede de hotéis séria. Vik Arena (NUNCA MAIS)!!!

Excelente custo benefício, por se tratar de um resort all inclusive, bem mais barato que muitos aqui do Brasil. É quatro estrelas, por isso mais modesto que outros bem mais luxuosos, porém vale a pena, pelo fato de ser menor, você consegue andar pelo resort todo sem depender de transporte. Pontos Fortes: A praia é muito linda, areia branquinha, água de cor verde esmeralda mudando para um tom azulado mais para o fundo, as ondas são bem mansas. A piscina é muito bem cuidada. O atendimento é muito bom, os funcionários se esforçam em entender seu idioma e tentar atende-lo da melhor forma. Quarto bem arrumado e limpo todos os dias, toalhas e roupa de cama trocadas. Para quem gosta de bebidas alcoólicas, vai se delirar, uma infinidade de drinks, todos a base de Rum, até a nossa caipirinha. Restaurante principal tem várias opções de pratos, carnes, arroz, massas, saladas, frutas, etc, porém não espere encontrar o que está acostumado a comer aqui no Brasil, mas nada que vá deixa-lo de ganhar uns quilinhos a mais...rsrs. Limpeza do resort nota 10. Pontos fracos: Internet Wi-fi só funciona na recepção. Restaurante Italiano, homens só entram de calça, então leve uma, depois de fazermos o pedido demorou para vir o prato, isso que não tinham muitas pessoas, quando veio o prato, parecia que pegaram comida pronta e esquentaram no micro-ondas. Vendedores de passeios, ficam o tempo todo te assediando, mas nada que vá deixá-lo irritado, até fizemos amizade com um deles. Algas, sobre isso é um capítulo a parte, a região do Caribe vem sofrendo a cinco anos com o surgimento de algas marinhas que se amontoam ao longo da costa, aqui no Brasil os vendedores de viagens não passam detalhes sobre isso, talvez com medo de perder a venda. Lá durante o passeio a Ilha Saona ( não deixem de ir), o guia me explicou que essas algas sao originárias do Mar dos Sargaços, localizado no Norte do Atlântico, devido ao aumento da temperatura dos oceanos nos últimos anos, as correntes marítimas vêm mudando de direção, por isso não tem período certo para o surgimento das algas, você pode ir e não ter, como ir e ter poucas algas (como foi no nosso caso), mas nada que atrapalhe o passeio, ou infelizmente ter muitas algas, que neste caso sim frustraria muito a viagem. No geral daria uma nota 9. Espero ter contribuído.

Excelente relação custo benefício. Local familiar, aconchegante e gostoso. Boa comida, boa limpeza. Se comparado com os resorts ao redor é simples, porém acho que vale a pena. O incômodo é a quantidade de pessoas tentando te vender coisas, a todo tempo...

Beautiful resort and I give it 5 stars.

As of this writing VIK Arena a Blanca is closed. The much smaller part of what previously was a upgraded area and time-share “VIK Hotel Cayena Beach” is where all guests are moved to. This amounts to only one small pool and one small restaurant being open. Everything else at the resort is closed. No activities of any kind, no gym, no kids club, no evening shows, no buffet. Housekeeping is “on-demand”. Front desk staff was nice and accommodated as as best as she could given there was nothing open. They also had live music in the evening with one musician playing cello. We ended up moving to another resort the next day. While I realize there is COVID pandemic, closing the resort and moving all guests to one area does not appear to be done for guest safety in mind. We stayed at this resort 4 times before and felt deceived upon arrival. Hope this review helps you make a better decision.

Fue muy divertido este lugar

Great resort, Great staff, Great food, Great Ocean front rooms! My husband and I had our wedding on the resort in March 2020. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with any issue we had. We will return and highly recommend this small resort.

Great visit this year. Lots of tiki huts and lounge chairs. Staff was great . Beach was nice. I personally think the resort should have more staff to better serve guests. The lobby could use more comfortable lounge chairs and more seating. I liked the professional shows but not the audience contrbuting shows. I will visit this resort again.

Um dos melhores resorts que já estive! O atendimento é bom, mas o tempo todo pedem gorjeta (em qualquer lugar em Punta Cana) fica a seu critério dar ou não! Me encantei pelo resort em si! É lindíssimo com uma estrutura completa e há a opção de um “atendimento ainda mais exclusivo” pagando um pouco a mais. A localização é ótima! A comida é incrível com opções de mais de um restaurante para almoçar ou jantar ou até mesmo tomar café da manhã! As bebidas do all inclusive são ótimas e de qualidade (fiquei na opção “exclusiva).

É um hotel relativamente pequeno em comparação ao geral . Tem pouca animação,à noite nem tem sequer ( so apenas os espetaculos do teatro) , a discoteca estava sempre vazia. O lobby muito fraco e pequeno, tendo apenas um pequeno bar/ self service. Não haviam bebidas a que se podesse chamar de cocktail , inexistência de barman ( ex: mojito era feito com copo com gelo e colocavam uma bebida com ervas) . Buffet era q.b . As áreas de convívio não tinham música,nem sequer ambiente. Basicamente os hóspedes é que tinham de andar com as colunas atrás. Internet muito má. Ideal para quem quer estar sossegado e dormir a seguir ao jantar. Só nao consigo perceber como tem um boa classificação para algo tão fraco.

Ideal para descansar, impresionante y rica comida. Tragos todo el tiempo de primera, playa paradisíaca y piscinas agradables. Después que les dices que no varias veces a los vendedores ya no molestan. Sé que volveré!!

Hola, estuve con unaamga del15 al 22 de junio, pasamos sensacional, sin ningun reproche en absoluto, comida, habitacion, atencion camarera, muy limpia siempre la habitacion, tragos, staff de animacion ( sobre todo chocolatito, un genio con su hidrogym) la piscina, la playa, la comodidad con que nos moviamos, en todas sus instalaciones, muy educados y simpaticos toooodooooosssssss.al ser una sra. gde.me hubiera gustado estaruno o dos pisos mas abajo, ( no se si depende de uds.)

L atención es muy agradable y la comida es exquisita y variada;presentan shows muy entretenidos y hay actividades de baile y deportes. Sin embargo, si ubicación es alejada del centro de Punta Cana así que no hay sitios interesantes alrededor.

The hotel is Ok, but there are some things to take I to account . 1. There is a lot of algae. Everyday this is washed up ashore. Everyday they try to clean it up, but as you can see on the pictures, it keeps coming back 2. The hotel is at the maximum a 3 star hotel. The food is good but not great. The rooms are outdated but functional. 3. The people at the hotel don't all speak English. 4. The animation is trying really hard and there are a few that are really good, but also their English is not always great. 5. The tours that you can do from the hotel are good. Just ask for MR Blue or Emmanuellebecause they are honest and you can make a good deal with them. 6. Don't accept the first room you will get. 😁. Always ask for an upgrade.I hope you will have a nice stay if you want to visit this hotel. For questions just ask me.

I had a wonderful time at the Vik Hotel resorts. Our room was very nice and clean. A fun atmosphere to enjoy at the pool or the beach! There are lots of excursions to see and do! We mainly ate at the international buffet were we can pick and choose what we want! Over all, the Vik Hotel is a great place to enjoy with family and friends!

The room wasn't clean for our 3pm check-in and that was the only issue with our room. The food was great, the was friendly and courteous. The evening entertainment was good but could use some improvement. Beach was clean and local vendors didn't bother you once you told them you weren't interested. Overall the atmosphere was great.

Smaller resort, with a very nice beach. Both the beach and the pool had more loungers and more shade than I have ever seen at any of the many resorts I have stayed at before. Staff were wonderful, took care of any issues we had. Local infrastructure is not the most reliable but had little impact on our vacation. Grounds and gardens were mature, beautiful, and very well maintained. Overall, the hotel has a comfortable, aged patina.

Resort is definitely not a 4-star resort. The paid internet was slow and does not always work. Foul smell (sewer) in the tap water. The room phone did not work. Constantly being approached by excursion and timeshare sales persons while inside resort grounds. Food was so-so. Service was not good from front desk but was OK anywhere else. Only one kind of beer and it's the WORST beer I've ever had. Old, rusty, primitive room safe cost $2 per day.

Ive been many places for vacation and this one was the most beautiful and most fun Ive ever had.. the ocean front rooms are so amazing and the food unbelievable for an all inclusive... staff 5 stars.. I cant wait to come back. Loved the excursions as well!
