Habitación con mal olor, el agua de la ducha es salada y de mal olor, poco tratada. No disponen de parqueos, hay que rogar por conseguir un lugar y que no te bloquee otro carro como pasó en mi caso. La playa llena de sargazos y las piscinas al ser pequeñas y al haber tanta gente se ven muy sucias. Cuidado muchos buscavidas en la calle del hotel.

Por ter muita gente tudo é na correria... Tem boa comida mais nem sempre conseguem repor com a rapidez necessária. Falta um pouco de indicação de onde é o elevador, áreas comuns de onde é o banheiro... E na correria ficávamos com informações atrapalhadas dos funcionários...

Hotel muito bom. Quartos com cheiro forte de enxofre, possivelmente devido ao local ser próximo ao mar e ter muita decomposição de matéria orgânica no solo. O bar próximo à praia é modesto mas da pro gasto. O restaurante onde servem o almoço e café da manhãé muito bom. As refeições dao muito boas, possuem uma grande variedade de opções.Local limpo, bem iluminado, boa localização, funcionários bem educados.Recomendo.

Água do chuveiro, piscina e torneira é água salgada! Ficamos no 3° andar e fedia MUITO mesmo, não tinha condições. Comida sem sal, a única coisa que salvou foi o macarrão pois é feito na hora. Várias variedades?? sim, mas de qualidade baixa. Pelo preço que pagamos é Ok, mas agradeço MUITO por ter ficado somente 1 dia no hotel. Praia cheia de sargaço!!De resto é tudo tranquilo, funcionários excelentes!!

Le pondría 5, porque el personal es muy amable y todo estaba muy bien. Pero gracias a las limpiadoras que nos robaron 50 dólares de adentro de la billetera que estaba colgada en el ropero dentro de una campera con cierre le pongo eso, y ojalá pudiera haber hecho más. No vayan a este hotel porque encima tenes que pagar 3 dólares por día por una caja fuerte, pasan estas cosas y quieren recompensar con sushi o una habitación mejor. Horrible pero bueno, la gente de recepción y los mozos DIVINOS! Vale la pena ir por ellos y su atención, pero las limpiadoras terribles encima que limpian horrible.

He de decir que antes de llegar a este hotel y leer las reseñas ,yo y mi pareja veníamos muy asustados por lo que nos fuéramos a encontrar , y la verdad, todo superó nuestras expectativas. Está claro que hay mejores hoteles en la zona. Pero en whala el personal nos trató excelente ,la comida la sentimos bien, y las instalaciones también están bien. Nuestra habitación con vistas al mar fue una auténtica pasada ,la limpieza en la habitaciónera diaria . El sky bar es lo mejor del hotel. La única pega que puedo poner es el agua salada en la lavabo y en la ducha. Por lo demás nos vamos muy contentos de nuestra estancia en este hotel!

The service was very good, the staff were attentive, pleasant and very helpful. A few of them were amazing. We were given an unexpected upgrade on the rooms at no extra charge. The rooms were clean and nice with a balcony, overlooking the ocean. We were a family of 8 and were given three rooms all on separate floors which was a bit surprising but we managed. There were some water/bathroom issues but they were handled. The food was average to good with a few special themed dinners that we liked a lot. Snacks were not great except for the French fries and pizza most of the time. We loved the pools especially, and the beach was very nice. We had no problems getting beach chairs at either place. We would have liked to have seen the bar closer to the third pool open but we enjoyed the walks and pretty grounds while going to the next closest. We liked that it was smaller and less busy than some of the places we've been. That was actually an unexpected plus. Our family ranged in age from 13 to 74 - we all enjoyed our vacation at the Whala Bavara very much.

The hotel is very basic and the rooms need some update. The bathroom looks old and really needed some fixes in the shower. Snacks were pretty bad and the service in the beach bar was slow. It's cheap for a reason. If you can pay a little more for a better experience, do it.

I knew this place was not going to be great because of knowing what I am paying, but did not expect THAT HORRIBLE!!! Bad prepared food anywhere including snack bar, How do you screw a hamburger!!! Not even a good soup at the buffet!! A lot more to say but no time !! When I asked for a supervisor I was told 2 supervisors who were there had just quit!!! So see your other options before picking this hotel!!

Horrible food and customer service. Food made me extremely sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, excruciating stomach and body pains. Went to urgent care and the staff were incredibly rude and wanted to hold me for 3 days and charge me $5000 US. When inserting the IV the nurse did not look like she knew what she was doing. She inserted it aggressively 4 separate times because she couldn’t find a vein. It hurt like hell. Prior to getting a room I asked two women who were here for holidays how long the wait was. The woman had broken her arm, got there at 11:30pm in excruciating pain, staff refused to help her until they got her credit card number and deposit. She sat in pain for 4 hours until somebody helped her and they ended up being there till 5am, which is when I had arrived. Staff at Whala are rude, if you’re a young woman you will be harassed and hit on when you speak to a man be it staff or local. If you have daughters do not let them wander alone. The food is disgusting and not properly cooked. The furniture in the rooms look very cheap, dirty. Overall I had a terrible experience and all of the negative reviews I have read coincide with what I experienced. I will never come to the Dominican again, if you do visit the Dominican do not stay at this resort and do not trust anybody.

Ojo con la comida, no la lavan bien, segundo día y a urgencias con cólicos por contraer el virus de Ameba por una lechuga. Moho en la duchas, la puerta del balcón no cierra y la música de la animación está 12h sonando. Hotel barato que ha salido caro. 1200€ la consulta de urgencias. El personal muy amable.

The cheapest in Punta Cana and for a reason. The parking is horrible. There is none and there is only one small roadway in and out of the hotel. It was flooded when I stayed. To leave the hotel at night, we had to wait 30 minutes because of a bus coming into the street. The check in was another 30 minute wait and to checkout was a long wait as well. The beach is close, breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. If you can put up with the rest go for it.

En general: la comida es variada, las instalaciones del hotel están bien, tiene una excelente ubicación, la atención de la mayoría de las personas del restaurante en especial la de alirio es excelente; sin embargo las personas de los bares, limpieza y la señora que organiza las atracciones nocturnas es pésima. Sobretodo está última quien organiza los eventos para ella misma, ya que coloca música para bailar con los amigos y se olvida de los visitantes.

Utilizei o Day Pass, custou 20 dólares/dia.Estrutura do hotel ótima, piscina com borda infinita, área com acesso a praia. Boa localização. Os funcionários são simpáticos e solícitos.Apesar disso, o único petisco disponível durante o dia é batata frita e hambúrguer. Os drinks não são bons. O almoço tem poucas opções.

Estuve 4 días, interminables, la comida es horrible, horrorosa esos embutidos, se nota que es lo más barato. No se pueden ni probar... Eso no es comida, muy muy caro para todo tan malo. Estoy enfermo del estómago hoy todavía y ya pasaron 2 días. El agua no es potable y con eso hay que bañarse, es salobre, no hay jabón...te dan una manteca "que cuida el medio ambiente" y después de que has pagado...te dicen ....ha...whala...no hay devoluciones.... bárbaros es que son. No vayan a ese hotel... El aire acondicionado esta directo...no descansas... En el baño había pelos hasta enredados en la manguera para bañarte,No te dan servilletas, no te dan agua si no la buscas...la loza está siempre sucia y dónde está la comida siempre hay moscas...que hasco acordarme.....

Estuve 7 días . Hoy volví a bs.as ... La verdad que para mi estuvo todo perfecto ! ... Los empleados de todas las áreas muy amables.. en relación precio/calidad es muy completo.. leí comentarios del agua salada para bañarse pero por esas zonas es común eso, te dejan botellas de agua para lavarte los dientes (para mi gusto no es negativo) ... La habitación muy limpia... La gente de seguridad también muy amable.. comida, tragos, snack .. para mi esta todo perfecto hay mucha buena onda... Volvería a ir sin pensarlo ..

Great all inclusive Value. I enjoyed the kayaks included at the beach. Several different pool areas. Must enjoy the roof top infinity glass sided pool overlooking the Beach. Overall decent food for the value. Do reserve the included private dinner well in advance.

I am here right now. The furniture looks like it came from the garbage however clean linens. I went tobthe snack bar . You know all-inclusive...French fries or a bun with tomato and cheese on it. I haven't been here 3 hours and I want to go home. The beach is actually in the other side of the other whala hotel. You have to walk about 5 to 7 minutes and pass through the other hotel to get to the beach. The paint and paint and paint to make things look new is so layered you can count the years like a tree stump. I can't go lower than 1 star but I would if I could

Una excelente atención por parte de la recepción,en especial por el encargado de esta área Ernesto Melo y la Gerente de Ventas Mónica Martínez. Bonitas instalaciones y por lo general, buen trato de todo el personal.Muchas personas en el snack pueden retrasar el tiempo de entrega del servicio, pero no es razón para ser groseros con los clientes. Algunas habitaciones con objetos en mal estado, o mal olor.En conclusión: Disfrutamos la estadía en el hotel.

Tiene par de detalles que resolver...El tema del olor a cloacas qué sale por algunos lados de las instalaciones y el agua limpia para bañarse es salada como si viniera del mar.Las bebidas alcohólicas le falta variedad solo preparan tragos con bebidas artesanales.De resto estuvo bien la atención del personal hacia los visitantes. Las instalaciones son bonitas y mucha seguridad.

Terrible..terrible..terrible... some staff was super rude...the sink and bath water was horrible with a salty dirty taste andawful smell...toilet you have to hold down to flush... tv didn't work...the buffet was ok but expected more since a resort... no towels or sheets in room... and was asked to pay $500 peso to get a pool towel (nonrefundable)No parking..you have to park in local street and they are not responsible if your car gets broken in too or damaged..No cameras so if something happened you just on your own.. no security walking around to make you feel safe....Flies constantly in food... Best part of resort was pool...and breakfast..NOTHING ELSE... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location. They should have charged 30 dollars for the weekend of how terrible it was..and that's still paying too much

Cleanliness is a big issue. Food dropped on the ground poolside that I stepped on, bathroom showers are not suitable (slimy tiles and built up rust and calcium on shower head, handles), bad odor in washroom once during the day, pool walls and floor have dirt buildup and the water has excessive chlorine. The service at the buffet isn't consistent (when I went outside of rush hours I wasn't offered water), lack of towels in the rooms. Bar doesn't have premium spirits so keep in mind. Lack of variety in the food and leftovers used as often as possible. My last lunch had excellent service and the wifi is very good (I used for work), so 2 stars. Glad we were only stopping through. I would not recommend if you are a foreigner or aren't used to thrift resorts.

This is a very good resort which can become overloaded on the weekends as many locals arrive. I would recommend visiting during the weekday when there is sufficient staff and it's a totally different experience. Elias the main restaurant supervisor is a big standout and you will get to know him as he provides excellent service

Thank God my credit card wasn't accepted here. Day after it was accepted without any problem in hotel Impressive Punta Cana. Me and my wife booked this hotel for 6 nights. We spent only 1 night here. Hotel looks nice from outside until we entered the room. Ceiling ventilator was moving like crazy, we felt like in any moment it's gonna fall down on us. Air condition remote was not in the room, staff came and brought a bag full off remotes and it took him 10minutes to find the correct one. The bathroom was even worse. Filthy toilet seat, shower even worse. Rusty head shower with layers of dried water on it. No clean water, at some time there was no water at all. Water isn't clean to take shower, smells crazy. For breakfast there were leftovers from dinner the day before. I think the room number was 5406. Don't know how the other rooms look like but our was like a horror movie scene. Thank God we stayed only 1 night in that hotel.

Mala administración desde el lobby, muchas malas experiencias lo peor es que EL AGUA ES SALADA EN LA PISCINA, EN LA DUCHA Y EN EL LAVAMANOS. Lo cual no te permite bañarte bien porque el cansancio del viaje no se te baja por no tener agua dulce para bañarte bien. En los restaurantes hay que hacer filas largas y para no alargar el cuento pues tuve que irme al otro día y perder mi inversión en dinero que hice. Un fiasco!!

Vou ser justo na avaliação o que é bom é bom, mas o que não é... Atendimento Recepção: Varia, existem atendentes prestativos outros parecem estar com raiva ou não querer atender. Quartos: Ficamos no quarto 1303. Lá vamos nós... o quarto é grande porém mal acabado, paredes grosseiras, uma sala com um sofá "perdido" faltando detalhes, um ar condicionado na sala, e no quarto um ventilador de teto. O quarto com lâmpadas queimadas, o armário com o frigobar quebrado na dobradiça. No banheiro água SALGADA no chuveiro e pia. Falta água na parte da tarde e os atendente dizem que é pelo tratamento. Piscinas: Boas, sem reclamações. Bares: Muito bons para quem contrata tudo incluído, pessoal divertido e prestativo. Nota 10 aqui. Restaurante: A parte que mais gostei deixei pro final que é o restaurante. Comidas variadas todos os dias, pessoal cuidadoso no preparo, sempre repondo pratos que acabaram e de um paladar muito agradável aos brasileiros. Nota 10 aqui novamente. Praia: A praia esta em um anexo do hotel, quem ficar na parte 1 do hotel precisa sair, andar alguns metros na rua e chegar na parte 2, onde encontra um snack bar, mesas e cadeiras de descanso e a praia. Limpa, com presença de algas como quase em todas praias de lá. Pessoas: Não é um hotel muito sossegado, em alguns momentos gritarias e falações altas nos bares e arredores, os animadores dão em cima das mulheres e as vezes são inconvenientes. Então animadores... nota ZERO, não gostei mesmo de vocês! Se as observações negativas não forem empecilho este é um hotel com ótimo custo beneficio, agora se os pontos negativos desagradaram, busque outra alternativa pois percebi ele é os extremos, ou é ótimo em algo ou péssimo.

Essa é a avaliação mais sincera que vocês verão desse hotel aqui, porque existem muitas pessoas que querem pagar 1 e cobrar 10 do Hotel. Dentro do proposto o Hotel cumpre muito bem a maioria dos quesitos. Tem alimentação o dia inteiro (manha/tarde/noite) e das mais variadas coisas, o cardápio de almoço e jantar é beeem variados além de ser tudo muito fresco e feito na hora. A limpeza do quarto e do Hotel também nao foge do esperado, tudo muito arrumado. As piscinas são excelentes e os bares também, os drinks poderiam ser melhor mas nada que desvalorize o lugar. O atendimento é excelente, todos sempre dispostos a ajudar e atender, cumprimentam quando passam e sorridentes. O wifi é fraco mas funciona razoavelmente bem. Só tem 2 coisas que poderiam ser melhores: o frigobar, que pelo menos o meu, só teve 2 garrafas de água no primeiro dia e nunca mais foi reposto e o banheiro. Nós do Brasil temos que agradecer muito pela nossa água porque a água do lugar é horrível e salobra mas isso não é exclusividade desse hotel, toda Punta Cana parece ter problemas com saneamento básico, o maior problema do banheiro é que ele é muito apertado, pequeno e o chuveiro tem uma pressão muito fraca... depois de alguns dias isso faz bastante diferença. Uma dica é deixar o chuveiro aberto por um tempo pro cheiro ruim passar e usar hidratação no cabelo todos os dias.No mais é isso. Fui em casal e recomendo muito se você quer ir pra curtir os passeios e não ficar tanto no hotel, ele atende 100% as necessidades.

El restaurante me encantó la comida el bufet no tanto no hay mucha variedad los empleados excelentes pero las piscinas con agua de mar el baño agua de mar salada es muy incómodo no tener el privilegio de utilizar agua dulce el hotel tiene todo cerca hay que salir a la calle para ir ala playa o al snack lashabitaciones hermosas higiénicas no ponen el rico café UF que decepción cuando amaneció y no havia café esperar a las 7 al desayuno las necesitas con 3 botellitas de agua nada de soda el hotel es bueno ¿si volvería? Preguntaría primero por el café y si cambiaron el sistema de el agua salada de las piscinas podrían dejar 1 para el que se siéntate Agusto para mi que la cambien toda de agua dulce buen hotel

Definitivamente un hotel 4 estrellas donde llegue con muy bajas expectativas debido a muchos malos comentarios , pero valió mucho la pena , comida prácticamente todo el día , una playa muy hermosa , bebidas muy buenas , sky bar fue lo mejor por mucho , check in prácticamente desde que llegue a la 11 am y el check a las 11 am igual pero te quedas allá hasta las 3 pm .único malo era que había que pagar por lo que consumías en el sky bar , pero si lo que quería era disfrutar de la vista y darte un chapuzón era todo tuyo y si el agua de las piscinas era salda al igual que la del baño es filtrada y te acostumbras cuando pasan los días 4/5 porque no tenía mucha variedad en su comidas , pero para el precio de este Hotel esta muy recomendable .

Es un hotel muy pequeño para la capacidad que dicen tener. El protocolo que han adoptado por el covid es un desastre, la comida MUY mala, el personal no es amable y no tiene vocación de servicio al cliente, no hay nadie quien ponga orden o haga cumplir las reglas, para comer en el snack se hace una fila de media a 1 hora, en definitiva no volvería.

This hotel was OKAY. They were definitely more bad’s than good. The bad thing is my friend’s and i kept getting cat called by the STAFF! Also, the water is very salty for the showers and the pools. The shower head would splash everywhere making a flood outside the shower. And near the beach there was a little bar where you can get food and drinks and the food were DISGUSTING. The pizza’s were soggy, the hot dog’s were raw and the burgers were burnt! The good thing is the pools, they were pretty fun. And the buffet was amazing. And we also got to do a lot of activities! So overall I would say it’s an OKAY hotel.

El lugar es muy lindo... Las habitaciones están cerca de todo... Y las personas que atienden son muy amables y siempre dispuestas a solucionar cualquier inconveniente. El agua de las 5 piscinas es salada e incluso en la ducha y los lavamanos también es salada. Nos suministraron botellas de agua mineral a diario. La comida tiene variedad pero en cuanto a embutidos y postres no la tienen. Solo cervezas, cocteles de todo tipo, vodka y Ginebra. El restaurante de comida japonesa es un servicio adicional al hotel se debe pagar por ese consumo. Las habitaciones muy cómodas con nevera ejecutiva y solo agua. NO PUDIMOS BAÑARNOS EN LA PLAYA NINGUNO DE LOS 3 DÍAS MOTIVADOS A LA INVASIÓN DE ALGAS MARINAS (su que la limpian no se puede bañar). Realmente la vista de la piscina en el 5to piso es algo hermoso y sublime, pero existen muchas cosas por mejorar.

Beautiful resort, clean all over. Great restaurants especially the Suaño Restaurant. People here is amazing, helping you at all times. Room service is amazing. The people at front are amazing, ask for Joan and he can help you with excursions.

The beach at this resort was not in swimming conditions. Color brown and seemed dirty. The water in the rooms for showering and necessities was salty. The pools were also salty.🙄 The food gave my son and I stomach pains. The good part of the resort was the customer service. Check in and out was fast and easy. The pools looked pretty, 5th floor pool was nice. Needs to be cleaner though. 😒

For the most part this hotel was okay...the location was the best part of the hotel, but you pay for what you get. I would not say this is a 4-star hotel as the "buffet" is all side foods and barely any meat or main dishes. They also didn't even have enough towels for us. I asked for 2 towels for almost 3 days because they "ran out". 1 minute walk to the beach and the pools do their justice. The Drinks on top of that have barely any alcohol and are hit or miss. The bartenders seem to be angry all the time. 3/5 for sure. There is definitely better "all-inclusive" resorts better than this.

I stayed at the building in front of the beach and although it was comfortable the water wasn't always running when I tried to use it. Not sure if it happens in all rooms but I definitely was not expecting that. The endless pool on the roof os definitely a plus but those drinks and food at that bar are not included in the all inclusive package. Other than that it's an alright place to stay and not overly pricey.

Deben mejorar el jabón y el shampoo de los clientes en las habitaciones, el ambiente se siente muy húmedo, deben ventilar más las habitaciones. No existen parques suficientes para los clientes. Por otro lado, el ambiente es tranquilo y limpio. El supervisor del área de la comida es excelente, vive atento a todo. La comida le daría un 7 de 10.

Muy buenas las instalaciones, atención variada, buena comida, linda playa. Lo único que no agradó es que el agua de las habitaciones no es potable. Demás nada. Asean todos los días si así lo quieres. Pasamos 9 días increíbles. El animador Jhon nos hizo pasar días divertidos, los mozos algunos muy simpático. En general todo muy bueno

Excellent!!! The resort is very clean, well-kept, the chefs are phenomenal,the buffets are works of art and the food is delicious. The staff is absolutely wonderful, the manager is fabulous. I'd live there if I could. I wouldn't hesitate one second to recommend this place. It's heaven on earth.

It exceeded our expectations. Food and drinks are included in the hotel price. Plenty of food at each meal huge quantity choices. Free Drinks were vodka and rum dominated which is not our normal...
