It was a memorable experience definitely. I highly commend the exceptional service of one of the staff for the romance dinner at the beach, Wilson Gonzalez. He is fun and professional and very kind. The whole set of menu from appetizer to dessert were so delicious. The chef did a great job. I would say this package is worth purchasing when you stay at Catalonia.

Made amazing friends with not only people staying at the resort but also the staff. Cannot fault the resort in any way. It is tropical paradise. From the maids, gardeners, chefs, bar staff, restaurant staff, general staff are all amazing. The resort is beautiful and huge. You are at one with nature here with all its effortless beauty. I’m in peace paradise and currently have a week left of my vacation and do not want to leave. Truly beautiful stay and would love to come back!!

The hotel grounds are beautiful, the rooms are dated and held together by silicon. We had 2 leaks in our room (2421), one on the ceiling that took 2 days to get fixed after several phone calls and one in the bathroom that would flood the bathroom floor daily that never got fixed despite my phone calls. Rubi our house keeper tried her best to keep our bathroom dry. She was very sweet and attentive and would bring us shampoo and hair conditioner any time we asked for some

The cleanliness and everything was amazing. The staff was nice, the decor was gorgeous. The margaritas were 10/10. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioners don’t work super well; they only get down to 78 degrees Fahrenheit at night which is super hot for us. We found it hard to sleep due to this temp.

Second time at Catalonia Royal. My first experience was a good one compared to this visit. The amenities of the rooms we stayed in need improvement. The air conditioner only worked in 1 room out of 3 rooms booked. Multiple times we told reception about the problems. Changed rooms and still did not work. We stayed in the Privileged Deluxe Junior Suites. The employees were always nice and very helpful. On the other hotel the family side, The experience was not the same. They were very rude and made my pregnant sister in law wait about 1/2 an hour for a glass of water in the pool bar. People that were there told the person working the bar to provide service to her and still that did not happen. At the end my sister in law left the pool. The treatment was definitely different on this side of the hotel. Very rude and honestly not worth visiting. Please do work a little on your rooms in order to keep tourists happy. Thanks

Adorei a minha estadia neste hotel. O staff é muito amoroso, cuidadoso e prestável. O jardim é lindíssimo e enorme com imenso verde e água. As massagens são ótimas. Tem imensa animação. ADOREI e voltarei ❤️

El hotel es muy lindo, pero el aire acondicionado de la pieza era muy malo y no se podía modificar, es muy grande el hotel, por lo tanto las distancias son muy largas, de los restaurantes a la piscina y la playa.La playa no es muy linda, tiene muchas piedras abajo, así que te pegas en los pies. La atención el los restaurante no es muy buena, no son muy amables los meseros.

Foi uma óptima estadia fomos uma semana e foi mt relaxante. A estrutura do hotel é muito boa, comida super variada e sempre disponível. Tanto na praia como na piscina tínhamos sempre lugar para estar e num lugar sempre reservado e agradavel.

Tivemos alguns problemas com os quartos, desde falta de utensílios e pia entupida, até baratas e aranhas. Mas as áreas comuns e a praia privada são perfeitas. Os restaurantes são muito bons e os funcionários atenciosos e animados.

I am here for forth time. This place changed a lot. Rooms are very tired and need renovations. Be careful with the concierge service- it is nothing but a try to sell you time share type of stuff which will take at least half day of your vacation. The people around us were super noisy and had parties in their rooms. The front desk didn't pickup phone so we had to just stay an 'enjoy'. It's a smoke area everywhere - forget about clean air. Take a lot of mosquito repellent (a lot!!). Food service is not good as used to be but I have to give admirations to the sweets chef - really good and yummy. In general it didn't worth the 3000$ we gave.Update: there are about a hundred+ people on the beach right now and only one gentleman is smoking a cigar causing a terrible smell on the whole beach. Financially speaking - how much the hotel will lose if ban the smoking? Just need to care about the people to had an answer to that question.

We stayed for our second time at the Royal Bavaro from April 23-April 30, 2022. The resort is one of our favorites. We rented the Duplex Villa with pool. Our adult daughters joined us this trip. We never had to go to any of the other pools - our pool was plenty big for 4 floats. Tanning chairs and beds, table and chairs, alcohol, etc. all within the confines of our "temporary home." All services were great, the food quite good, cute shows and entertainment. The beach had a bit of seaweed, but a small walk out into the water provided crystal clear waters. The premises are absolutely beautiful. Our only problem was that upon arrival a few things needed repair, but these issues were completely rectified. We spent some quality time with our daughters and will enjoy our memories for years to come.

O resort é muito bonito, a praia é maravilhosa e a equipa de animação excelente. Tem escolhas variadas em termos de restauração e bares. O quarto já é um pouco antigo, mas ainda assim é bom. Recomendo a estadia.

Estivemos nas férias da Páscoa a passar uma semana com um grupo de amigos (3 casais todos com crianças). Começando pelos Pontos positivos : A PRAIA esta é sem dúvida a grande (quase única) mais valia deste hotel :) uma grande extensão de areia repleta de palmeiras, água quente, com algumas algas mas com algum esforço do staff do hotel na sua limpeza praticamente não se fizeram notar. Espreguiçadeiras sempre disponíveis (o que não é muito comum nestes destinos) e uma boa área para uns belos passeios à beira mar. Até aqui parece um sonho....Fizemos um upgrade para os quartos renovados (que já estão a precisar de uma nova/ grande renovação) a que chamaram "Previleged" que nos deu acesso a um bar na praia exclusivo ("Pure") muito espaçoso, com uma decoração e uma vista incrível e onde as bebidas têm mais qualidade que nos outros bares normais. Temos ainda acesso a uma zona restrita de espreguiçadeiras nesta parte exclusiva.Uma zona junto da piscina das crianças que está toda a tarde a fazer pizzas muito boas. .. o sonho termina aqui... Pontos negativos: (tantos, por onde começar)Começo pelo pior, o serviço! Nunca vi nada igual! Em 7 dias não encontrámos 1 pessoa / funcionário que memorizássemos como simpático. Parecem robôs. Não dão um sorriso, parece que nos estão a fazer um favor. Nunca foram atenciosos para as crianças, nunca nos sentimos especiais em momento algum. Tão longe do que nos habituaram nestes destinos semelhantes que até parece mentira! Animação praticamente inexistente, vi em 7 dias fazerem 3 ou 4 esquemas meio de improviso na praia, nunca desafiaram as nossas crianças para qualquer tipo de animação ou jogo (e eram 5 crianças dos 4 aos 11 anos) a única vez que as crianças insistiram para irmos ao Kids-Club saíram de lá em 2 minutos pela inércia e falta de empatia das 2 raparigas. Os bares só abrem às 10:00 o que significa que temos de ficar das 8:00 (hora do fim do pequeno almoço) até às 10:00 sem poder beber um café ou outro tipo de bebida. Muitas vezes faltavam 2 minutos e mesmo não estando a fazer nada não nos serviam! Um serviço TERRÍVEL!No primeiro dia depois de mais de 10 horas de viagem o check-in demorou quase 1 hora (tínhamos apenas 4 pessoas/ quartos à nossa frente). O primeiro quarto que nos deram tinha espelhos partidos e com bolor, mármore da casa de banho partidos, colchas da cama com buracos enormes. Fui de imediato à recepção e não nos trocaram de quarto, algo que só aconteceu com muito custo, com a ajuda da agência e com muitas idas à recepção que me fizeram perder uma tarde das tão desejadas férias! O segundo não era muito melhor, com muitas coisas avariadas: sanita, secador, cofre... enfim pouco melhor que o primeiro.Os quartos para 2 pessoas ou para 4 pessoas são exactamente iguais com 2 camas de casal pequenas o que não faz sentido quando se paga muito mais por um quarto de 4 pessoas.No restaurante junto à praia, mesmo não sendo o principal não se admite que os sumos naturais no pequeno almoço só tenham existido nos 3 primeiros dias com a desculpa da máquina estar avariada. (4 dias?)Poucas vezes tinham a iniciativa de trazer água, café, e quando, depois de pedirmos, assim o faziam eram poucas as vezes que estavam todos os copos ou chávenas.Para ajudar à festa, apanhámos o fim de semana da Páscoa que encheu com muitos Dominicanos que para além de tomarem banho na piscina vestidos levavam pizzas e todo o tipo de bebidas e recipientes para dentro de água. Chamei a atenção mais do que uma vez ao staff que me diziam que não se podia mas nada faziam.Tinha potencial (com uma das melhores praias que já tive oportunidade de conhecer) para ser um hotel de topo mas com este serviço TERRÍVEL é de facto um hotel que não recomendo e que nunca mais irei repetir! O que valeu esta semana para além da praia foi a companhia que fez com que apesar de tudo isto tivesse sido uma semana inesquecível! O truque...só lembrar da praia de sonho!

Bebidas péssimas e empregados pouco profissionais, assimetria no serviço conforme a cor da pulseira, quartos velhos e com mau aspecto. Check in e atendimento na receção muito lento e pouco eficaz. Não recomendo.

El hotel es muy lindo. El Servicio excelente. El personal es muy bueno, amables y predispuestos. La comida es variada y rica. Se ofrecen diversas alternativas según los respectivos restaurantes. La vegetación es muy linda y bien mantenida.

En si el hotel es bastante grande con muchas cosas para hacer, es un plan para no salir del hotel ya que lo tienes todo. Las habitaciones son normales, no parecen de 5 estrellas pero están bien. La comida es bastante variada siempre tienes que comer La única queja no respecto al hotel sino a las personas son poco hispitalarias u poco amables pero se ve que claramente es un tema cultural ya que desde el transporte que era pago lo trataban a las paradas a uno .. de resto muy bien

A great little adults only resort with on-site restaurants, two pools, and a sandy beach. The rooms are a bit dated on the adult side and it looked like renovations were starting. Air conditioning didn't work in our first room along with our neighbours so we were moved to another building. Staff were wonderful - so patient and helpful.

Worst “5 star” hotel I was in. Food and drinks are horrible, rooms look dated, people selling you extra services while you lay at the beach. Hard to get reservations for the restaurants which have a little better food quality. The sea water in the private beach is full of weed everywhere and has sharp and big stones on the seafloor so that you can’t swim in it. The pool could also get some cleaning, especially at the walls touching the water. The garden is really nice though.We tried to cancel our stay even before the first night but they refused and tried to give us an upgrade to a room that was even worse. My girlfriend got food poisoned the last day.All in all a very underwhelming experience. Can’t recommend this to anyone.

This resort exceeded my expectations with everything. When I got there Kelly made me feel so welcomed and made sure we were happy with our room. The food and drinks were amazing and they did not skimp on alcohol. Natalia was so friendly when I was checking out and I felt so sad that we were leaving. Will definitively come back for our next vacation.

Nos alojamos en este hotel en febrero. Las habitaciones normales dejaban bastante que desear, podías elegir otras superiores pero tenían un cargo extra, cosa que en un principio no pensábamos que fuera necesario, pero nos arrepentimos de no haberlo hecho. La comida del Buffet muy repetitiva, tanto que a la plancha en una semana solo vi filetes de pollo, filetes de ternera y dos tipos de pescado, el resto los típicos platos de hotel, nada especial tratándose de un supuesto hotel de 5 estrellas. El personal muy atento y amable en todo momento. Las instalaciones estaban decentes y limpias. La playa del hotel tampoco era nada del otro mundo, todos los días el agua tenia algas ybastante turbia, si esperas ver las típicas playas con aguas cristalinas esta no es tu playa.....

El hotel está funcionando en su máximo esplendor. Todos los restaurantes abiertos . Gran variedad culinaria. La habitación fue de ensueño . El personal administrativo es muy capacitado y siempre está dispuesto a responder inquietudes y con mucho empeño en que la estadíasea memorable. Muy buen servicio de golf

En general es un buen hotel, si implementaría un lugar para poder comer pizza o hamburguesas en la playa ( no se puede comer sin vestirse ) y la idea es descansar y sentirse libre. El equipo de animación muy bueno. La playa muy linda. Quizás las habitaciones requieren una renovación.

My boyfriend and I stayed 11 nights, the resort was beautiful and we were happy with the privileged upgrade (because the pictures we checked before booking were only from privileged rooms, the normal rooms were really poor). Beach bar Püre chill out bar was amazing place with amazing drinks (smoothies + alcohol/non-alcohol drinks). We suggest trying Japanese and steak house restaurants but not the Italian one, we were food poisoned two times after our visits. Overall, it was very nice and relaxing holiday and we would return back.

The ETC staff especially Felix makes my mom and I have the most enjoyable and stress free stay. Everything is always 100%. The rooms are perfect and super clean. The staff are amazing and always willing to help us with anything. The beach is amazing, the pool area is a lot of fun. The restaurants are all 100% perfect. Been to Catalonia at least 12 times and will always continue coming back❤️🙏🏽

Hotel muy bonito en exteriores pero en interiores falta mantenimiento. Te obligan a tener el aire acondicionado encendido cuando ahora (6-1-2022) hace una temperatura muy buena y no es necesario. Si vienes del invierno español apetecen temperaturas agradables como las que las que tienen aquí. Si apagas el aire, gotea por el servicio. Si la empresa dice estar en favor del medio ambiente, que mejor forma de poder tener el aire acondicionado apagado.La playa está llena de algas y fango y no representa la imagen de una playa de Punta Cana.

Buen hotel, me encantó la distribución de los espacios ,las áreas verdes,la piscina.Para quienes les gusta beber, la preparación de los tragosno es muy buena , sin embargoo la comida muy buena . Tiene distintos restaurantes donde se puede degustar alimentos de Italia, Españay Japón . Ah lo lamentable es la playa ,que si bien es muy calma, tiene mucha alga y el color no es turquesa .Eso decepciona un poco. En las noches hay espectáculo,pero igual un poco básico y para los jóvenes una disco ....En general bueno.

Comida de fraca qualidade, sobremesas sempre os mesmos quadrados de doces. O espaço é agradável. Quartos antigos e sem manutenção. O pessoal não está direccionado para o cliente. Preço/qualidade razoável mas para quem procura algo médio ou superior não interessa.

We had to stay here because our flight got cancelled. It was a great resort, beautiful pool, however we were on the 3rd floor and no elevators. Big workout getting up there. They have a great selection of shops! Beautiful lagoon layout. I highly recommend the pizzeria till 2am, they serve cans of President.

Se não tivesse termo de comparação até poderia achar que este era um padrão normal no país... Porém já há muitos anos que viajo para este destino, para outras cadeias hoteleiras, a pagar menos e com um nível de serviço amplamente superior.Com instalações que têm tudo para oferecer um serviço de excelência pecam de forma cabal pela falta de limpeza das zonas comuns, principalmente da piscina e também dos quartos (mesmo no segmento deluxe). Os quartos praticamente não são limpos,muitos dias retiram as toalhas sujas e não repõem lavadas. Também o staff não prima pela simpatia e foco na atenção ao cliente, algo que até então não tinha experienciado noutros hotéis do país.Infelizmente é necessário perder tempo a fazer reclamações para obter um serviço que cumpra o mínimo de qualidade.Felizmente a oferta é grande pelo que voltarei mas a escolha recairá com toda a certeza noutra cadeia hoteleira.

EL PEOR SERVICIO !1. Reserve 2 habitaciones para 3 c/u personas. El día que llego las habitaciones eran de 2. La primera noche la 3 era persona de cada habitación tuvo que dormir en un mueble que no era sofá cama. 2. Solicite la cama extra de las habitaciones 5 veces 1 personalmente en el lobby y 4 por llamada (llegue al hotel a las 5 pm de la tarde) cuando llego a las 12 de la madrugada a la habitación no tenía la cama extra. 2 personas de 50 años tuvieron que dormir en un sofá por una noche. 3. La atención es súper mala y el servicio lento. La comida TERRIBLE lo único bueno es el desayuno en el buffet. 4. El segundo día de mi estadía solicité una Coca-Cola de dieta (soy diabética) y me traen una regular. Cuando les digo que se confundieron, me dijeron no que esa era la de dieta al final me dijo Erin “le trajimos la normal porque no hay de dieta”. Sin avisarme previamente y queriendo engañarme. 5. Me cobraron $30 por los exámenes de covid me los entregaron a la 11 de la noche antes de mi vuelo (que salía a las 8:30 am ) cuando llegó al aeropuerto nos exámenes estaban malos ya que me los enviaron con la fecha que no era. 6. En fin tengo más quejas del servicio y la atención al cliente del hotel pero esas son las principales. No lo recomiendo por EL TERRIBLE SERVICIO Y POR LO MENTIROSOS QUE SON.

Food is horrible. Only breakfast is eatable. The rest is impossible. We had to change rooms because the AC wasnt working. The new room had no hot water in the shower so they needed to change the water group and finally worked. Smelly pillows. No food service by the beach. Microscopic gym. My wife got a massage and the lady came late. The massage was so bad that my wife asked the lady to finish earlier. Nice beach, nice pools, nice landscaping though. Wouldn’t recommend to stay there.

La calidad humana del personal de este hotel y su disposición para colaborar con los huéspedes es excelente.En el bar de la piscina, WILSON Y GENOVEBA, siempre muy cordiales y atentos a colaborar. En el servicio de habitaciones,BRENDA es una señora muy dinámica,atenta y diligente. Personas como ellos, son el PLUS DE CATALONIA ROYAL. Igualmente el personal de recepción y demás trabajadores del hotel. Todos fueron muy deferentes con mi esposo, quien tiene movilidad reducida. La comida, muy variada y muy buena. Hay diversos restaurantes con excelentes menús. Vengan a CATALONIA ROYAL, SERÁ UNA EXPERIENCIA MARAVILLOSA.

We stayed one night as our flight got canceled and this is the hotel the airlines has a contract with. We had no luggage and had to buy toothbrushes and deodorant in their store - seriously?! A 5-star resort and they can’t provide basic toiletries that even a motel 8 will provide? Our room looked like it had been empty for weeks. The lamps didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, the bathtub was dusty, there weren’t any sheets on the bed and we had two towels and no hand towels or washcloths. Because the phone didn’t work we had to walk down to the reception desk to ask for anything. The food was just okay (not what I would have expected from a high end hotel) but the waitstaff was rude and there weren’t enough of them so we had to keep flagging someone down for simple things that our previous hotel staff anticipated we’d need. (Like filling our water!!) They have souvenir sharks all over the main entry so you can’t go anywhere without being bugged by someone calling you friend and trying to sell you something. Don’t let the “5-star” fool you!

Hotel que necessita de melhorias em várias áreas: - Quarto completamente velho e mal mantido. Pelo menos está limpo e é mantido limpo. Tem uma banheira gigante que não serve absolutamente para nada já que não tem jacuzzi - O buffet muito agradável em que se demonstra que qualidade não é quantidade. - A infinity pool e mesmo a pool principal tem o chão danificado podendo provocar lesões. - Restaurante temático asiático mediano sem nenhum efeito wow A opção pelo preço em vez da qualidade tem este tipo de resultado.

Realmente espectacular. Un resort de cinco estrellas en un lugar paradisíaco, con muchísimo aforo, grandes espacios verdes, piscina impresionante, cuatro comedores temáticos, habitaciones grandes y lujosas y mucho personal diligente y con un trato maravilloso. En el plano negativo solo apuntar que había mucho sargazo en la playa, sobre todo a principio de semana y que pese a tener una habitación "Privilege", con terraza, en planta baja, el grandioso wc olía mucho a tajea, lo que pusimos en conocimiento de la dirección pero pese a que sellaron el inodoro, no se fue ni nos cambiaron de habitación. Por lo demás todo resultó perfecto y pese a los puntos negativos apuntados, volveríamos, aunque en época que no haya sargazos.

Hermoso hotel cerca de la playa, ideal para descansar. Les dejo una foto de ajedrez gigante que nos llamo mucho la atención. Servicios correctos para el tipo de hotel que es y el precio de las habitaciones. La cercanía con la playa le suma un punto.

The stay was amazing! The service was super friendly, the room was very spacious, the drinks were strong and the beach was peaceful. The only downer is the menu options could have more of a variety. Pool was great!

The property is beautiful, the staff is mostly nice, the food is good too. The check in process was easy but I arrived when it wasn’t busy. The room was beautiful, I got the single room, everything worked and the bathtub was amazing. The reservations for the restaurants were easy and could be made three days in advance. It was nice to be able to go to the disco, restaurants and casino next door. The only issue I had was with the male staff members hitting on me constantly. One even tried to kiss me then returned to my room the next night and was banging on my door. Single ladies definitely bring some pepper spray and more just in case.

Hotel excelente se gana sus 5 estrellas. Tiene grandes ofertas. Comer a la carta es una experiencia de lujo. El vino tinto no es muy bueno, pero el blanco si lo es.

The hotel style is beautiful since it’s kinda vintage also most of the staff are kind, gentle. However it has some areas of opportunities: -Rooms: Are too vintage since there is not plugs close of the bed only a few, when we arrived, the AC was having trouble, kinda hot so we had to contact the maintenance in order to fix it at the end was just “cool” The little refrigerator never got cold only “fresh” We took some soda to drink it on our way to the airport and we realized it were expired! Around 5 days ago! On a moment the power went off! Room service staff are so mean! There’s not a variety of food/dishes even on the restaurants same with the drinks most of them are for the “exclusive guests” but I have to mention I did pay for privileged to get those exclusive dishes and drinks but guess what? Only access to the other hotel but actually(since there’s not a control on the “border”) however could go the family one. One of the jacuzzi around the spa wasn’t doing too much bubbles when it supposed to be. The family resort is close which is good however there’s not a control of the people from that hotel since sometimes we saw children with his/her mother or father walking of the pool that is close of the pool. Anyway, I think they have to organize more! Does not worthy at all! A thousand buck to the trash! Totally dissatisfied and disappointed!

O hotel faz parte de um complexo com mais dois hotéis, os quais tb podem ser usufruídos por hóspedes do Royal. A estrutura é maravilhosa. Os quartos são mais simples e nao estão ao nível do resort. Ficamos num quarto que ora saía muita agua no chuveiro, ora nao saía nada, ora saía muito quente. Mas isso não nos incomodou muito. Os funcionários do hotel são muito atenciosos e prestativos. De um modo geral o resort é excelente, vários restaurantes, bares, lojinhas, spa e pequeno cassino.A praia é um fator à parte. Linda e espetacular. Contudo, viemos em agosto e o mar estava repleto de algas, o que deixa a água escura, não sendo possível aquela vista de praia do caribe, com água claras e transparentes. As algas do mar sao jogadas pela maré para a praia e expostas ao sol exalam um cheiro horrível de ovo podre. Insuportável ficar na praia e tb no hotel, pq o Cheiro é muito forte.Infelizmente se soubéssemos q nessa época do ano tem tanta alga assim, nao teríamos vindo.O passeio ficou marcado por essa experiência que nada tem a ver com a expectativa que tínhamos do caribe.Uma pena.

A infraestrutura é maravilhosa, mas o serviço não acompanha. Foram poucas as vezes que conseguimos comer uma refeição quente. Você tem que se esforçar muito para não estressar com o serviço inferior ao padrão brasileiro. A grande maioria dos atendimentos são feitos por pessoas mal humoradas e carrancudas que não resolvem nada, passam adiante para outro colega e ninguém faz. Um vinho pode demorar 10 minutos e pode chegar depois do prato principal, mesmo sendo pedido antes de ler o cardápio. Não é raro chegar entrada junto com o prato principal, mesmo você alertando antes. Se você não ficar se lembrando que está de férias, no paraíso, pode se estressar. A carne é muito ruim. Exceto pelo serviço do rodeo, que é um bom restaurante deles especializado em churrasco, evite comer carne. Os cortes têm gordura e nervos no meio do filé. Para completar esse serviço ruim, eles têm um dress code que mata qualquer um. Gente, imagine você no calor, de férias, tendo que vestir calça para ir jantar comida fria...

My wife and I, stayed here for two weeks. The people and the service are amazing. Obispo and Laura were amazing at the siwichi bar. Leonel and Luis always asking if we were good at the thalassa restaurant. Erick in the pizzeria always happy to help you(get a Romana pizza). Look for Juan at the piano bar and ask him for his signature drink, it’s really good. Finally, if you would like to have fun either playing chess or dancing look for Erick and Moises they know how to do it!The staff working at this resort make yo experience so pleasant. I hope to come back soon !!

La calidad de la comida también es excelente, la variedad del buffet podría ser mayor pero esto ocurre en muchos hoteles todo incluido luego de la pandemia. El personal es amable. La calidad de los artistas en la noche es muy buena pero hace falta el ambiente de fiesta. La arena es blanca y delgada... pero el mar por esta época es un desastre (temporada de algas, mal olor... según me dijeron desde junio hasta agosto), por lo cual si eres amante de meterte en el mar debes buscar otro lugar en estas fechas.

This place is terrible. The rooms are dated and lack decent air conditioning. Room wasn't hot, however it could be much colder to where you should feel the air comfortably. We had an issue with the toilet but the maintenance guy came really quick. Beds are hard but the room is always cleaned by the housekeeping. The food here is terrible too and not enough options for meals. Room service took 2 hours and they still got my order totally wrong after calling twice and repeating it when I called. Also, no ice machine. You have to call room service for ice. No real top shelf liquor options. More and better liquor and restaurant options on the family side which is baffling to me as to why not on the adult side.

Hi, we were on our honeymoon in this hotel . We were really disappointed, the personnel is really mean, they don’t tell you informations about the hotel, the restaurants or any service . The room was really not clean, there was some leak in the bathtub and in the toilet , their only answer was : sorry we can’t do anything about it . Before we arrive they told us that there was room service 24h but in reality it only works from 7am to 10pm and when you ask them for something they don’t want to bring it to your room they tell you to go to the restaurant or the bar so what’s the interest of room service ? Every morning at the breakfast you have to ask 3 or 4 persons before you get what you asked for. The buffet is really poor and even if you come at 8am , it’s almost empty and they “have no more for today”. We are from Europe so we really used to have a great service in 5 stars hotel but clearly they don’t deserve their stars . I absolutely not recommend this hotel .

Me and my family just got back from our wonderful vacation, had an amazing time at Catalonia family friendly different activities to do most importantly everyone was very nice and helpful. The entertainment crew very nice and welcoming I want to say a special thank you to Ana the nice lady who cleaned our room, Reimi known as Lucky Lucky and Sony and thank you to everyone who made our stay better than we expected. Will definitely going back!

This place is amazing. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I've been here for 2 days so far. They just dropped the ball on a small birthday surprise I asked to have for my girlfriend but they didn't do what promised. Eventing else had been amazing. The food is great here. The pools are clean (Catalonia Royal, Adults only) Be mindful that not all restaurants or activities are available every day. They do have a specific schedule and you must have a reservation for all except the buffet.

Mejorar la comida y la bebida. Si el trabajo que haces, te gusta; se nota. Las piscinas son lo mejor que tiene, siempre están tibias y hay muchos rincones para hacer fotos de pareja. Falta atención al detalle.

We were very disappointed in our stay at the resort. The restaurant staff and the cleaning staff were great. But there is a lack of communication with the staff at the front desk. It seems like no one knows what is going on and answers to your questions change every time you ask a different person. There were no managers or supervisors available. We had a horrible experience trying to make our dinner reservations. They kept telling us to come back to the lobby at different times. We wanted to be at the beach, not walking back and forth to the lobby. We were referred to talk to Judi, and when we asked for her, we were given the run around, we never saw her. I had to get heated with the concierge before he could finally make our reservations. First he said he couldn't but when we got upset and demanded to talk to his superior, he very rudely removed his mask from his face and told us, we did not need a manager, that he would do it. He did so with a nasty attitude. I would not recommend anyone to stay at the adult side. The family side is better and you get better service. The beach was covered in seaweed from the day we arrived until the day we left. I know this is a natural phenomenon, but they could've done a better job at keeping up with it.

This resort was wonderful! From the time we walked in, Cesar helped us with our luggage and walked over to the lobby area which was sparkling clean. They welcomed us with a welcome mimosa even though it was late. They even made sure we got to eat as the restaurant was almost closing. The room was very spacious, I will say it did have a weird old/humidity smell but once we let them know they had maintenance come check the AC and housekeeping to retouch the room, and after 3 days or so the place didn’t smell. The service from most of the staff was always great and common areas were always clean. The place was very organized. 90% of the food was very good to my liking and there were 7 restaurant to choose from (with rotating hours throughout the week). They had many events to keep us entertained from singers, to an electronic violinist, the trumpet performer and we were even able to go to the sister resort. And let’s not forget the beach party! They even had some shops and a small casino. I truly had the best time and would highly recommend this resort! *SIDE NOTE* I believe some of these reviews are inaccurate because they get this resort the “Catalonia Royal” which is ADULTS ONLY confused with the sister resort which is for families and completely different. The adults only resort is so much better!

The resort is beautiful. The vegetation, the scenery and wild life all come together beautifully. We up-graded the room to the romance suite and it was worth it. The room was luxurious, had a nice view and was middle distance to everything. We let them know we were there for our anniversary and they brought up champagne and macarons, which was a nice touch. The buffet food was not great and is the only reason for why I’m not giving 5 starts. The restaurant food on the other hand was amazing! Too bad you can’t do that every night. I do see why people were saying there was not enough variety in food choices. But since we only stayed one weekend, it didn’t really matter. Anyone staying longer could start to get tired of it. The activities were fun, and the atmosphere was overall very lively day and night. One recommendation: always drinks as doubles.

Hotel com funcionários extramamente desrepeitosos com os hospedes. Reservado e pago antecipadamente, chego no hotel e reservaram meu quarto para outras pessoas, ainda ficam inventando que o teto do quarto está com defeito, mas nao me deixam ve-lo. Se nao der gorjetas para os garcons, eles nao te atendem. Sao mal encarados, nao fazem questao de te entender e nem procuram ajudar.

Hotel é bom, ótimo para casal por ser Adults Only. Comparando com outros hotéis da cidade, sentimos falta de atividades recreativas. A comida é muito boa, o hotel tem as os espaços comuns de forma muito intuitiva, diferente de outros hotéis que parecem labirintos. A praia nessa região não é das mais bonitas, tem muitas algas.

Me and my wife decided to get away from all the madness back home in the states. We booked this trip for 5 days and it was phenomenal. The staff were kind and friendly. Every one at the resort practiced social distancing. Rooms were great and housekeeping was wonderful. The beach was nice and clean and the water was super clear. Superb service from front desk and check in was quite fast. I will definitely be back soon and would definitely recommend this resort.
