Beautiful hotel, especially impressing views of the Central Valley and the surrounding mountains. Brand new everything and very “state of the art”. I do have mixed emotions and will have to review each thing because we certainly experienced highs and lows. Highs The mountain views, wow! The room, everything brand new, big, modern and beautiful. High quality amenities. The view from the room was incredible, we had a cloudless, clear day. The buffet breakfast, very high quality, delicious food, large variety. Outstanding service. Lows There is a $ 25 + tax charge for parking. Not informed about this when making reservations. Lack of instructions of any kind in the room. A/C did not work very well, only the fan worked but it did not cool the room. We placed the complaint, had a maintenance guy come to the room and supposedly fixed the issue, however, the room did not cool all night and we could hardly sleep. Cable TV quality is barely acceptable, some channels randomly translated to Spanish and some in original English, but the language cannot be changed, so it is annoying even if you are bilingual. The only written thing in the room, regarding the change of sheets and so forth, in English only and with spelling mistakes. Hardly luxury hotel quality. Noise: we stayed on a Friday night and apparently there was a big party just about two floors below us, we could both hear the noise and feel the shaking on the glass. Upon calling the front desk to complain, first we were told the noise came from outside, which wasn't true, and then we were told that yes, there was a party in the hotel but, not to worry as the noise would stop at 10 pm. Having woken that day at 4 am, I wanted to sleep early so the noise was an issue for me.

We came as a large group for dinner. The restaurant is at the top with beautiful views of the city. The dinner was exquisite and the best we had during our 11 day tour. The passion fruit cheesecake is a must! The staff was very professional. A must go to place for dinner!

Love this hotel and the entire costa rica experience. I don't think i have experience a most kind and welcoming atmosphere in any other country. and i am talking about the country itself. Everywhere we went was incredible and it was mostly due to the people. The front desk was always available and helpful and Mathew was like a guardian angel the entire stay. so lovely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the peninsula.

My wife and I stayed ten days. The place is nice but the bed was very firm. The food is good but a bit pricey. The place is clean and secure but we did have a morning where the alarms blared waking us up early in the morning. The announcement was only in Spanish so we had no idea what was happening. We immediately got dressed and went down 29 floors only to be told that it was a false alarm. We felt like idiots as we seemed to be the only ones leaving the place We go back to our room and the alarm continues to go off. God forbid something serious happens in this hotel as the staff seemed utterly unconcerned during this situation.

Absolutamente incrível hotel com as melhores vistas em San Jose. O hotel começa no 18º andar e sobe a partir daí. Café da manhã fantástico e vistas fantásticas de todos os quartos.

Tudo excelente, exceto uma coisa as senhoras que trabalham como "anfitriã" na recepção e no bar nada atentas. Com dizer a ele que a anfitriã com o celular na mão deitada como se estivesse em casa. Essa informalidade está sendo trabalhada e essas caras amargas tiram pontos do hotel.

Restaurante tem um lado com bela vista o resto se sentir muito claustrofóbico. Talvez decorar paredes com plantas em vez disso.?! As placas são caras e não vem com nenhum lado! Eu voltaria, mas talvez por estar do lado de fora com vista apenas para coquetéis.

Todo excelente menos una cosa las señoras que trabajan como "hostess" en la resepcion y la del bar nada atentas. Con decirle que la hostess con celular en mano recostada como si hubiese estado en su casa. Se está trabajando esa informalidad y esas caras de amargas le quitan puntos al hotel.

Restaurant has one side with nice view the rest if very claustrophobic feel. Maybe decorate walls with plants instead.?! Plates are expensive and does not come with any sides! I would come back but maybe for sitting outside with the view for Cocktails only.

Plan to stay here if you’re in San Jose. Very short car ride from airport to the property. Driver was right on time and very friendly. Helped with bags and got us right over. Staff is so helpful! Guillermo was one of the best. He was so friendly to our 7 year old and answered all his questions. The entire staff deserves their own shout out too.Breakfast was absolutely first class. Fresh juices, cheese, meats, pastries, eggs. Highly recommend! #diamond

Me he quedado 2 veces en este hotel y ha sido LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA. 1. La primera vez se fue el aire acondicionado por completo, el cuarto parecía un sauna. Resulta que no había electricidad y las plantas no daban. Los elevadores tampoco funcionaban y solo nos decían espérense, yo no me podía esperar. Tuve que bajar 18 pisos por las escaleras de emergencia para poder salir del hotel. 2. Hoy fue la segunda vez, decidí darle otra oportunidad porque TODOS nos la merecemos y cuál fue la sorpresa? Ayer toda la tarde un taladro se oía como en el cuarto de a la par parecía, y hoy fue lo qué me levanto en la mañana. Yo que iba a descansar fue lo último que pude hacer. Lo peor de esto es que la señora del front desk no hizo nada, no dio un descuento ni me dijo disculpe no le cobro la noche. Definitivamente es un hotel que no tiene el estándar de Hilton, es una lástima que con su ubicación y potencial de ser de los mejores cree experiencias tan negativas. No vuelvo, no lo recomiendo, y no vayan hay muchos otros MIL MEJOR!!!

This review is long overdue. I am an avid traveler and traveled to Costa Rica for vacation for the first time. I selected this hotel because of the location and reviews. The trip started a little rocky upon check-in but the General Manager, Juan Carlos, and Anna-Marie (?) at the Front Desk turned it around. Juan Carlos and his team went ABOVE and BEYOND. The stay was incredible! We loved the room. It was spacious and overlooked the stadium, the breakfast buffet (which included mimosas) had something for everyone's taste. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional! (The bell staff was. on point every day with a friendly smile and an offer of assistance/directions/recommendations.) Even the Executive Lounge was phenomenal and provided a pleasant reprieve each evening with light food and astounding selection of non-alcohol and alcohol beverages. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone traveling to San Jose. The views, service, food and overall experience certainly makes this hotel a "must stay" for your next trip to San Jose.

Stayed for one night before a flight the next day. Booked a room with balcony and was not disappointed. View was great from the double aspect and the room was spacious. Took off a star because the jacuzzi was cold and not working correctly. The gym is not bad. Breakfast was great with good vegetarian options. Staff were attentive and helpful. Not the standard Hilton.

Tem havido um tempo bem gasto no treinamento da equipe. A higienização COVID é de alta prioridade.

This isn't just another Hilton. The staff and the property far exceed anyone's expectations. Extremely clean, with superb decor and the views into the National Stadium and surrounding areas are amazing! The food was delicious in the restaurant and the Executive Lounge. There has been time well spent training the staff. The COVID sanitizing is a high priority.
