Loved the location. They are still expanding. Went during soft opening so it wasn't extremely crowded. Rooms and Parks and performances were excellent. Good Burger is strictly for the kids. Food was unsatisfactory. Adults should eat everywhere else...lol PSA...Alcoholic beverages are better straight. Enjoy

Airport transfers are a NIGHTMARE! Asking the hotel concierge for help with anything is a complete waste of time! We had a swim-up suite. Great for pictures but the shadow over the water from the top 2 floors of rooms kept the water cold all day. There was a nice tub in the bathroom - it leaked all over the bathroom floor & into the room the one day we tried to use it. Great food when it was available! Delicious drinks - we never had a bad bar tender! The resort credit is a complete joke! How do you offer a resort credit at a kid’s resort but not allow it to be used on ANY kids services? Not even on a Mommy & Me spa day. Kids entertainment was A+ though. Recommend the character breakfast - not so much for the food but it does entertain the kids.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Reading all of the negative reviews made me very nervous, but I'm so glad we went ahead with our stay. The check-in process was a breeze (it was late at night), the water park was fabulous, the food was really good, and everyone was very nice. There was an error with our dinner reservation on the first night, but they immediately fixed it. We enjoyed all of the activities including Mexican night and music, Slime Nights, the acrobatic shows, and the movie night. The only "negatives" - the room needed a legitimate garbage can, the water at the swim up pool was really too cold to enjoy, and the beach wasn't great (very small, rough water, lots of seaweed). The character breakfast was a fabulous experience as well. Overall, this was truly the best trip we ever took, and my kids (ages 2 and 4) beg to go back nearly every day!

We love traveling to Mexico. In 40 to 50 trips, we have never had a bad experience -- until this trip to Nickelodeon Riviera Maya. The trip started with a 5 hour check-in process. We did arrive early (noon) but knowing that check-in was not until 3pm, we planned to have lunch and take a tour of the hotel and water park prior to checking in. At 5:15pm -- after sitting in the hotel lobby for over 2 hours -- we were finally shuttled to our rooms. The food was adequate (Piazza was really good). The facilities are nice, however, the first night we killed a cockroach in our room and one of the beds in our children's room was already occupied by ants! The worst part of our trip came on the last morning. We had an early flight out (6:40am) so needed to leave the hotel by 4:30am -- private transportation arranged for 4:15am - 4:30am pickup. When we get to the lobby of the hotel at 4:10am, we were notified of "road repairs" on property so we were taken a different route to get to our golf court transportation than we had ever been. We had no idea where we were going -- lugging our own luggage -- but the hotel staff had no clue either. After walking down hallways and through large, dark rooms (6 adults, 6 children), we finally made it to some "service entrance" near the back of the hotel. To get the ground floor below, we had to drag our bags down approximately 20 stairs to reach golf carts waiting. To make matters worse, one member of our party is disabled and has a tough time navigating stairs -- not to mention there were 20+ and it being 4:30am. After being shuttled to the front of the hotel we were then informed we had to "check-out." Since we were already 30 min behind schedule (30 min from the airport and less than 2 hours from our flight time) we asked if the hotel could just run our cards they had on file instead of us having to walk back upstairs to check-out -- not a chance. All 3 families had to go back upstairs and go through a very slow check-out process (with the exact same cards the hotel had on file) so we could receive our handwritten note that indicated we were "paid-in-full" in order to be released from confinement. In all my previous experiences to Mexico, I cannot say enough great things -- this one was different. For kids, the Nickelodeon concept is great -- but this place is terrible. The one place I can praise the resort on is the friendliness of its staff. While most proved to be completely incompetent, the vast majority were very friendly and willing to help -- they just didn't know how to help. Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is a poorly run organization, the fault lies at the feet of poor management and leadership -- not its staff. I'm sure the staff is as frustrated as its guests......

This place is a kids paradise!! We have been to many resorts and Nickelodeon goes above and beyond. The food is exceptional the staff and characters all play with the kids. We are only on day 3 of 10 but it’s been perfect so far. There where some reviews above that the water was super cold and it’s absolutely perfect not cold at all couldn’t pick a better resort for kids if coming to Cancun and we will be back for sure

Do not book directly with the resort. You can get for nearly half the price elsewhere on the web. And when you book with the resort and cancel, they will not give you your money back. I've never given a 1 star review and I haven't even gotten to the resort yet!

If I could give zero rating I would do that. Save your money and DONOT book this hotel. On check and they told us a reservation was been canceled, Suddenly four hours later they found a reservation. The room that was given was not ready so we waited another two hours to find out that room was already occupied and they gave us the wrong number when we got to the room. Then the luggage was never sent to the room we had to go and get our own luggage. Do used the concierge to book our trip to Xelha- paid for dolphin encounter but they couldn’t find our booking at the park and there was no way to get hold of the guy we booked from in this hotel. It’s a NEW headache EVERY DAY !!

Super bad room service, it's about 1 hour before you get any order in your room if you get it. they don't offer covid test on premises. You have to go to hotel next door and wait in line. Staff trying their best but lost. Obviously no training to little training been done. Still some construction around. They are not ready to open yet

Still under construction and too much confusion and lack of information among staff. Many areas are incomplete and supposed additional amenities are simply not yet available. Shameful that Karisma/Nickelodeon are charging 5-star rates for 1-star experience. Staff was wonderful in trying to make things right but unfortunately they didn’t have much to work with. IGNORE ANY 5-STAR RATINGS PRIOR TO AUGUST 1st AS THE RESORT DID NOT OPEN PRIOR TO THAT TIME.

Os quartos são bonitos, mas se fosse pela comida que vendem lá colocaria menos de uma estrela, é um preço alto que não seria inconveniente se fossem ricos e de qualidade ... Mas nem isso, nem mesmo os nachos, são impossíveis de ingerir, comida que não recomendo. E falta muito treinamento de atendimento ao cliente para os funcionários.

Los cuartos están agradables, pero eso sí fuera por la comida que venden ahí pondría menos que una estrella, es un precio alto a lo que no tendría inconveniente si estuvieran ricos y de calidad... Pero ni eso, nisiquiera los nachos, están imposible de ingerir, comida no recomiendo. Y les falta mucha capacitación de atención al cliente a los empleados.

First time staying in this hotel. A lot of restrictions for covid-19.I was staying in 2nd floor with a nice view. The hotel was okay. I stayed in a Junior Suite. You have to pay for parking. I bet when everything is back to normal the hotel will function a 100%. I will give another try in the future. I don't want to review a 100% with details the bad experience since the hotel was re-opening from covid-19. Their Restaurant was NOT open, but you have room service for breakfast and I believe dinner too.. Hotel is located at Paseo la Fe, lots of noises because you have 2 floors open (street mall) full of restaurants and shopping areas ( you only heard it when you go outside,not from my room). NH hotel has their own restaurant but, outside on that floor it has a wide open patio so you can enjoy the views of the mountains,and people at the Plaza. Cesar (receptionist)speaks English and he is very nice guy! They employees are friendly.And again the Hotel just re-open for business and they are following the protocol for covid-19 very serious.Only 1 person can ride the elevator,they wear masks, they check your temperature and spray your 🧳 . Never saw employees following this protocol 24/7!!👏👏👏👏

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Several restaurants on property as well as Mall. Hotel and mall taking every precaution against Covid-19. There are also bars open at night if you want to get out for a drink. Breakfast included and it is brought to your room

El hotel cuenta con instalaciones modernas, buena iluminación, es cómodo, tiene cortinas blackout y que bueno porque nuestra habitación tenía el sol casi de frente jsjs, cuenta con todas las amenidades, es limpio y la atención por parte del personal es muy buena. Por fortuna tomamos una promo reservando en la página de NH con late checkout hasta 3 p.m. lo cual fue de mucha ayuda y me gustó también que llegamos antes de la hora de entrada y nos pudieron brindar habitación sin problema.El único detalle es que comparten estacionamiento con la plaza y no tienen un espacio para clientes del hotel, por lo que tuvimos que pagar $65 por día y detalles con boletos de entrada y salida. Es un poco estresante estar buscando estacionamiento en toda la plaza y más si estas cargando con cosas. Elegimos la opción con desayuno y muy rico y variado el buffet. Se los recomiendo también:)😊☕🍳🥓🧀🍽

The hotel is in the area of a shopping mall called Passeo La Fe, in the middle of a open air food course with several restaurants. Good for me who arrived late in the night to eat something with a beer in a cool place. Despite the music outside, the hotel is very quiet inside, with this modern style, bossa nova like music in the lounge, and still cozy.Clean, quiet, polite people, I would recommend this hotel. I only missed a bathrobe and more bottles of water in the room. The windows don't open from inside.

Very nice hotel, well situated in Liverpool complex in La Fe, nice large well-appointed suite on 3rd floor...BUT the noise from bars & clubs in the shopping complex is just RIDICULOUS! It’s all night,every night - the bass rattles the windows. Not the fault of NH, but bring earplugs!! Mar 2020
