Este hotel equivale mais um 3 estrelas do que 4, a nível de limpeza deixa muito a desejar, pois no proprio dia do check in verifiquei que o meu quarto nãoestava limpo, sótinham feito a cama de lavado e todo o resto ficou por limpar desde espelhos, casa de banho, chãoetc. Dirigi me a recepção onde pedi no dia a seguir para efectuar a limpeza correctamente e lálimparam melhor, mas nãofoi perfeito.Hotel a precisar de renovação, principalmente os quartos. O staff ésimpático, a comida évariável, mas a fruta écortada muito verde, tirando uma ou outra que está madura. Existe somente 2 restaurantes no Hotel.Piscina bem cuidada e a praia élinda! Por isso nãovãocom muitas espectativas para este hotel, da cadeia Riu, este éo mais em conta, pois existe mais recentes logo ao lado deste e com melhores condições, maa também pagam mais.

O hotel é excelente principalmente em relação ao custo e benefício. O atendimento é de primeira. Anfitriões sempre prestativos, educados e simpáticos. A comida é sensacional e com uma variedade muito grande. O hotel oferece diariamente shows temáticos para entreter os hóspedes a noite. E estes shows são de classificação livre, para roda a família. Sem contar as festas oferecidas para o público adulto. O ponto negativo é que o hotel não tem uma política para não fumantes. Sendo assim é permitido fumar praticamente em todas as áreas do hotel, sempre causando aquele desconforto para quem não fuma. De resto a minha experiência foi maravilhosa.

O lugar é bem grande e tem vários tipos de eventos durante o dia para entreter o hóspede. A maioria dos funcionários são alegres e simpáticos, mas não todos, o frigobar do quarto faz parte do all inclusive, mas nem tanto, se você não estiver no quarto quando passarem oferecendo você fica sem; e tudo que tem no frigobar é limitado a duas unidades. O bar quando fica muito cheio parece que os funcionários tem dificuldade para atender a todos e começa a dificuldade por atendimento. O quarto tinha um cheiro forte de mofo e o ar condicionado não funcionava, mesmo reclamando mais de uma vez não fomos atendidos para resolver o problema, como não estava tão calor não nos incomodamos tanto com isso. Acho que vale a visita, porém, está longe de ser um resort top, dos 3 RIUs que existem em Punta Cana é de fato o mais simples, se você procura luxo, talvez seja melhor considerar as outras opções.

Typically the difference between the affordable resort chain option and the medium to upper-end does not have people feeling like 3rd (I can't even say 2nd) class citizens. We booked this via cheapcarribean.com which said 4 stars and honestly, giving it 3 is too generous.Gonna try to do a love sandwich meaning start and end with the nice things...The staff was very friendly and fun as were the activities people and shows at night.The food... I've never been to jail, so I can't say for sure, but I'm not sure it was even comparable to be passable as prison food. Breakfast is your best chance in the day to fill up with semi-decent food. Myself and new friends we made at the resort got sick. (Possibly prepared fruit, water, or ice) Eventually we just walked to the other Riu resorts and tipped well for seating at dinner and the food was miles better in preparation and quality.Drinks were so inconsistent, mixed drinks are never the same, placed cubes in frozen drinks, no straws, didn't mix in the alcohol and mostly 2 liters were used, not soda fountains and if you are a diabetic, be very careful as diet soda (coca-cola lite) is not always given and sometimes even just regular soda + water...The best snack bar is by the beach as this is shared with other Riu resorts so the quality is better.It took many attempts and wasted tips to finally get the fridge properly stocked. The resort is older and needs a face-lift.The disco is not open as advertised.Covid testing was a stressful nightmare we never received our negative results via email (checked spam and to this day never received them) and as we were packing to leave had to run to the other resort to have them printed. The fact that they could not call over and have them emailed on the spot shows a lack of customer service.Overall there seems to be a need for better management for continuity, quality assurance, and customer service. Some of the higher up Riu execs should be forced to stay there undercover for a week and eat the Naiboa food with no alternatives.Their beach was beautiful.

Excelente lugar, inolvidable estadía. El personal del hotel altamente calificado, son personas muy atentas, alegres y simpáticas, prestas en todo momentos a brindarte su servicio. Las instalacionesy el aseo de las zonas comunes y de las habitaciones son muy buenas. Y sin duda la comida es una delicia, amplia variedad. VOLVERÉ!

Excelente estadía ! Desde el día que llegamos el personal nos atendió muy bien, amable, atentos y alegres ! Sin duda el personal de animación, bar y comedores los mejores del hotel! Sin embargo tuve una pésima experiencia con personal de piscina, olvidé mi reloj applewatch en una de las reposeras una noche en el sector piscina del hotel y al día siguiente al ir a buscarlo ya no se encontraba, busque la ubicación por gps con mi celular y el reloj se movía entre los hoteles Riu y siempre llegó al área común de los empleados a unos 700 mts del hotel (yo concurrí al lugar y me consta que es él área de empleados) cada vez q el reloj me emitía señal fui a buscarlo pero siempre lo apagaban y hasta el ultimo día, la última ubicación que me envió fue la del área de los empleados, me entrevisté con personal de recepción y el encargado del hotel, incluso vimos las cámaras y se logra apreciar que los únicos que limpian el sector en el que yo estuve y ordenan las reposeras son personal del área de piscina, quienes me negaron que ubieran encontrado algo. Así que en ese aspecto desilucionada , esperaba que si encontraran algo lo devolvieran, uno entiende que debe cuidar sus cosas y no puedo culpar a nadie en específico porq por las cámaras no se logra ver quien es específicamente y el reloj lo apagaron, pensé q pudo haber sido un huésped pero lamentablemente la ubicación que siempre me arrojó fue en área de empleados así que decepcionada y desilucionada por haber depositado toda mi confianza y seguridad en el hotel ! Si no fuera por esta experiencia mi evaluación hubiera sido perfecta ! Si van cuiden sus cosas, corren el riesgo que no las devuelvan si es que las encuentran 🥺 y no dan ninguna solución ni respuesta más q un lo siento

Buena alimentación, cuartos limpios pero no tienen cama doble, hay que juntar dos camas sencillas. Pero lo peor de lo peor es que permiten que la gente fume por todo el hotel, playa, piscina, salón social, corredores, etc, nada de respeto por los no fumadores, dan predileccióna los fumadores, que aunque son muchos siempre son menos que los no fumadores. Así que por eso no recomiendovenir, yo no vuelvo, veréotras opciones

Muy buen hotel, fui a principios de Enero 2022 y excelente comida, excelente trato del personal, el show nocturno excelente. El hotel es pequeño, se debe caminar por un sendero fuera del hotel para llegar a la playa. Por cuestión de ls restricciones por COVID-19 la discoteca está cerrada. Pueden acceder al casino, gym y playa de otros Riu. Tienen acceso al parque de Agua (Excelente). Le doy está puntuación por la comida (Sazón dominicano 100%) todo delicioso, y por el trato del personal y la paz que se tiene en el complejo.

Maravilloso. Si bien es un hotel de segunda línea de playa, está a solo 100 metros caminando de forma segura dentro del complejo Riu. Hay otros hoteles de la cadena por los q se puede caminar y visitar (y sacar datos para tu próxima estadía). El personal fue muy atento y cordial. La comida excelente. Todo siempre estaba limpio y ordenado. Dato extra hay un cajero automático allí y dentro de la habitación tenes un dispenser de bebidas nacionales con alcohol 🍷. El personal de entrenamiento siempre atento para hacerte pasar un buen momento. Recomendado! 🇩🇴

He contratado 3 noches en este hotel y he tenido que irme antes por problemas estomacales. Mi esposa, mi hija y yo nos hemos enfermado ahí al parecer por la comida, la cual es muy mala por cierto. De las peores experiencias, no volveré jamas.

Honestly...............REALLY bad! Not a 4 star at all!! I want to go home right now, still have 4 days!! So Sad😭Follow up - I'm home now and just seen the reply from Riu Naiboa Online Management Team. You were made aware of all incidents, especially the woman being assaulted in the buffet, as you moved her to the Riu Bambu! We met there and discussed her experience in length. The front desk staff was very dismissive of both of our concerns, though the best outcome was being moved! We ended our stay at the Riu Bambu and had an AMAZING time, well worth demanding a transfer! Everything there was at and above standard, especially the staff and amenities. Again, pay a little more and stay anywhere other than the RIU NAIBOA, wowsers!!

Excelent for the price. Good food, nice service, ok rooms. For the beach you have to walk like 100 meters trough a nice street, not a big deal. Close to the aquatic park. Other Riu hotels have more luxury amenities, but are also more expensive. We liked this one.

Mis vacaciones fueron increíbles, el hotel te brinda una experiencia completa: 👉🏽 La playa es soñada: arena fina y blanca, sombra natural (a base de muchas palmeras), espacio extenso y muchas reposeras (a la hora que vayas encontrarás algún lugar para ubicarte), y el mar es bello con olas y colores turquesas. 👉🏽 El personal, desde recepción, mozos y animación son muy educados, cálidos y predispuestos. El ambiente que brindan cada uno de ellos hace que tus vacaciones sean increíbles. 👉🏽 Las instalaciones son lindas, el hotel es contenedor y no ostentoso; con un clima tranquilo y familiar. 👉🏽 La pileta es amplia y muy limpia y los bares poseen tragos variados. El buffet tiene variedad de comida mientras que el snack que se encuentra en la playa es repetitivo. Tuve la oportunidad de visitar distintos puntos del caribe, pero con la experiencia que me brindo este hotel, quede por demás satisfecha. Prometí volver. Sumamente recomendable.

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolute terrible experience. Everyone was rude and was not helpful. They would roll their eyes and act like you’re such an inconvenience. The chefs would cat call the women, which made me feel not safe being alone. Foods and drinks were terrible- I didn’t know it was possible to mess up drinks this bad. They only have buffets where they would re use the food. Toilet broke in our room and we had to ask twice to get it fixed. Mosquitoes in the room so we woke up with big bites. Restaurants didn’t open up on time, so good luck if you have to go anywhere on time. Covid testing was an absolute nightmare. They never told us when we had to take it (and they had a 3 hour window to take it), so we had to cancel our excursion. They told us the results would get emailed to within 24 hours and it was not. We had to talk to them 2 different times about our issues and that we needed it to go back home. They told us to leave the resort without it and “it will come”. It was sent 1 hour before we had to leave which was super stressful. The elevator broke stopped working several times and they never put a sign on it. No itineraries so you never knew when events were going on. The walk down to the beach was filled with shops where people would haggle you. And lastly if you had any issues they always referred you to the other ‘sister resorts’ for help so they were useless. We told them how our experience was and the issues we were having and they just shrugged their shoulders and rolled their eyes .DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Malísimo hotel, feo, cutre y mal servicio. No funcionaba ningún enchufe en la habitación, tampoco el cargador usb. No tiene el apagado de luces centralizado con la tarjeta, con el gasto energético que eso supone. No tiene playa, hay que salir del hotel para acceder a ella. El servicio nocturno de comida solo dura hasta las 12 de la noche. No se hacen responsable de tu servicio de vuelta al aeropuerto y cobran el último día 10 dólares la hora por estar más tiempo en tu habitación. El servicio de snack está en la piscina,nada más cerano. La distribución de la comida en el comedor es caótica, en un extremo una cosa y en otro extremo otra. Todo se ve rancio y gastado. En el Comedor no puedes ir bien vestido porque sales apestando a comida. No airean y no tienen buenos extractores. Tampoco tiene restaurantes para reservar por las noches. El servicio de los recepcionistas es deficiente, igual que el de los camareros. En suma, un pésimo hotel

Simple resort, budget friendly. Limited food options, decent pool - not crowded, entertaining nighttime shows. Rooms a little dated but not bad, comfy beds. Staff was very attentive, extremely polite. I would stay at one of the other Riu resorts next time. Waterpark was nice.

From the minute we got to the room we knew this was not for us! The lunch looked like dog food. Only 2 options raw hot dogs or hamburgers.There was no cheese. There is only 1 pool. The drinks are all bottom Shelf.The next morning there was NO WATER at the resort until noon! My fiance and I called our travel agency and demanded we be put in another resort. We went to Palace Macao and enjoyed the rest of our trip. NEVER book this hotel, I cannot believe they're using the RIUname. It is awful!!!!

Muy bueno!!! Excelente!! Muy buena la comida, los tragos no tanto ya que son artificial no son totalmente hecho de la manera normal, y se entiende ya que mientras más rápido es el servicio mejor. The room and bathroom are quite small and cramped. But clean and a very comfy bed. A/C was quite ok. The food was way better than I expected after reading other reviews. The salads were fresh and crispy. Guacamole most meals. Not so much for vegetarians but enough . Husband loved the fish for lunch. Pool stays open late, love this. Shows were good. Staff very pleasant. Grounds are gorgeous. The beach is not so far and I found the shopkeepers quickly get to know who is not interested in shopping. Please be polite. These guys are just trying to recover from covid ruining the last two years. I thought it was very good value for $.

Muy buen lugar para disfrutar un momento agradable con familia y/o amistades. Los alimentos son muy buenos y un menú variado. De entretenimiento hay diferentes juegos durante el día y, en la noche, se realizan actos en el área del teatro. Lo único que no me gustó que es que haya una sola piscina para todos los huéspedes, aunque uno pueda usar los toboganes de los demás Riu de la misma cadena, pero no es lo mismo...

Giving it 4 stars because I felt there should have been more signage around to guide people to where they need to go and also the WIFI was in and out and couldn’t get work done. But otherwise everything else was fine. The breakfast was 3/5 and the dinner at the Italian place was 4/5 and service was excellent all around.

I heard so many horror stories and warnings about this particular resort pertaining to the cleanliness, the limited dining selections and poor wifi. To avoid the risk of my trip being ruined I switched hotels just in time and I'm so happy I did. Before you book please take into consideration that the standard room has twin beds instead of a king bed which is a no for me because I'll be with my significant other. If you want the king size bed they charge an outrageous price of over 300$. This was confirmed by the hotels front desk staff. Why spend that when you can go to a better resort that has the flexibility of either or with no extra charge. make it make sense.

Hotel mediocre de máximo 2 estrellas. Limpieza pésima de las habitaciones. En algunas habitaciones hay chinches en los colchones. Han devorado las piernas de una compañera. El agua de la piscina está verde, la gente se baña con ropa. Lo único que merece algo la pena es el buffet. Algo repetitivo pero hay variedad. Lo mejor del hotel son sus animadores que son lo más!! Así que para ellos las estrellas del hotel.

the hotel was ok, keyword hotel not a resort in my opinion . on my second day they had a blackout which caused my wifi to be out for the remainder of my stay which was 2 more days & i had complained at the front desk about it and he told me i wasn’t the only one who was having the problembut conveniently on the morning i was leaving the wifi started working in my room 🤔. only 2 bars & only one is open during the day which is by the pool and you have to keep walking upstairs to get to it . doesn’thave much activities or entertainment . there are no restaurants here only the dining room where they serve the same food everyday & don’t expect to be able to eat at the restaurants at the neighboring resorts because you can’t eat there if you’re not staying there eventhough you would be paying out of pocket . you can try this place out if you’re looking to budget but i definitely will not be staying here again . also i kept my money and passport in the safe and when i took them out the were damp, now my passport is bent up from the moisture .

Por el trato de los empleados sin duda. Siempre muy amables y dispuestos. Luego que te dejen desayunar antes del horario de apertura del buffet. En negativo, poca o ninguna variedad gastronómica, todos los días lo mismo. El ruido que hacen los huéspedes por la noche es horrible. Aún siendo el hotel de Riu más económico creo que se merece un poco más de atención de los dirigentes. A la gente que le guste lo bueno mejor elegir otro hotel. Yo cuando llegué me hubiese cambiado de hotel, porque no fue lo esperado y la diferencia de dinero es poco de uno a otro. No recomendable!!!!

El hotel queda en el Risort RIU. Las habitaciones son amplias, aunque la mía tenía olor a humedad. Buena atención, tiene un restaurante tipo bufé con amplio horario. Bar libre en la piscina y otro bar en el que en las noches realizan actividades. El hotel no queda a la orilla del mar, como los otros RIU y eso no está explicado en la publicidad, debes atravesar la calle Caribeña para llegar.

As you walk into the hotel is beautiful BUT when you get to check in it goes down hill. I was not given a map or bracelet. Elevators had cables everywhere, one looked like it had been punched and my husband got a shock when he tried to turn up the AC. Refrigerator was not stocked when we walked into the room. Snack is burger and hot dogs only. The food is 2/5 and barely anything Dominican. Staff in the restaurant was very rude when we asked for legit anything. They only had one restaurant but the website says otherwise. The pool was great and the staff at the pool also. The night shows were nothing too big. We moved to riu palace bavaro and legit felt like Day and night.

Fui hace 5 años por una semana y fue fascinante, mejor que otros Resorts 5 estrellas que he ido, incluido el Riu Bambú que no le llega ni a los tobillos. (Incluso cuando este es solo de 4) Quedé con ganas de volver y justo por eso reservé para ir el próximo mes. Espero no me decepcionen. He leído comentarios de personas que se quejan de que las habitaciones huelen a humedad y no me tocó eso cuando fui. Espero hayan resuelto ese problema. Voy con altas expectativas de pasar un fin de semana inolvidable.

Hotel a precisar urgentemente de restauro e melhorias. Cheiro a mofo em várias áreas do hotel, sem nenhum meio climatizador nos corredores com que faça que esteja muito calor. Nos quartos a refrigeração muito limitada dado ao clima que se faz sentir neste país, a temperatura está pré defendia pelo hotel,as toalhas de banho com um cheiro esquisito. Colocam sempre flores no lavatório tentando delubriar a limpeza deficiente. A sonorização é péssima, principalmente por cima do bar/e/ou teatro. Fiquei no 107 vim logo a receção para me mudarem de quarto, ainda tentaram que mudasse só no dia a seguir, se não fizesse pressão assim seria, mas acabaram por me mudar nessa mesma noitepara o 251 que era numa zona melhor a nível de ruído. Comida sempre a mesma, muitos hidratos, pouquíssima variedade. A maioria dos funcionários funcionam muito por gorjetas, o que faz com que haja hóspedes de primeira e de segunda conforme a grojeta. O suposto restaurante temático também é muito medíocre, repetem a carta, e aqui sim funcionam muito por gorjetas, sendo um atendimento péssimo por esse fator. As toalhas de praia fornecidas vêm sempre mal lavadas cheias de manchas, dando só á possibilidade de levantamento de uma toalha por pessoa por dia. A animação é medíocre e quase inexistente. O pessoal da animação tentam ser "gigolos" e é tudo muito forçado. Os outros da cadeia riu parecem ser muito superiores. Ponto positivo a localização do bar da praia ser inserido na praia. O bar fornece não só bebidas como comida apesar da pouca variedade e condições de higiene nessa zona de alimentação. Tem uma zona de comércio, tem a discoteca "PACHA", um mini casino, um parque aquático , tudo isto inserido dentro da cadeia riu e de acesso gratuito. Quando voltar a Punta Cana não será deveras a minha escolha, pois são mais o pontos negativos que positivos.

Excelente servicio, la comida muy buena, pero la estadía fue un poco aburrida ya que no hubo buen entretenimiento, tampoco ponían música buena y las habitaciones no tenían muy buen olor, pero el servicio es muy bueno y la atención es excelente, me gustaría volver, pero si hay más entretenimiento, no sé si fue porque era Semana Santa, pero le daremos su segunda oportunidad.

For the price it’s not the worst, but we definitely wished we’d spent more money to stay somewhere better. It’s close to the beach and shops and other Riu resorts which you can get into. But the food is terrible and the same everyday. The walls are extremely thin. And all the activities are always canceled so there’s not much to do.

O pior hotel que já fomos! Ao chegar nos deram um quarto com banheiro sujo de fezes, roupa de cama suja e mesa com restos de comida. Zero respeito as regras de distanciamento do covid, hóspedes sem máscaras nos restaurantes, todos se servindo livremente (sem luvas ou assistência). As zonas do bar sujas e com aglomeração. Pedimos o reembolso no primeiro dia e buscamos outro hotel. A direção é composta por dois responsaveis, um responsável de recepção (magro de gravata e estrabico) super prepotente, não trabalha orientado a solução, nos tratou super mal e não queria diálogo. Tive que fotografar tudo e ameaçá-los para conseguir o reembolso. Felizmente o outro diretor financeiro muito mais sensato nos conseguiu o reembolso. Fuja desse hotel!

Had an amazing time with a price you can't beat. Would definitely recommend. The only issue I had was the floor was dirty but housekeeping fixed that. Beds are ok, but we were only there at night to sleep. 5 minutes walk to the beach. 9/10 would recommend

Excelente Resort! Mi estadía fue excelente y lo que más me gustó fue el grandioso servicio al cliente y el trato que nos dio el personal. Son personas increíbles ! Me encanto! Me hice amiga de todos los empleados que pude y todos hacen un excelente trabajo ! Todos son educados y todos trabajan a en equipo, siempre atentos al personal, siempre haciendo que el objetivo de cada área de cumpla. Muy buena higiene, buen entrenamiento considerando la situación con el Covid-19. El parque de Agua es lo mejor de lo mejor ! Las habitaciones estaban muy bien y todo muy limpio. Lo único que podría criticar sería el buffet, que podría tener más variedad pero debo admitir que la comida estaba demasiado rica ! El restaurante a la carta estaba muy bien también, demasiada buena la comida. En general es un hotel excelente y repito, me sentí muy bien tratada por el personal, hacen un excelente trabajo! Nos alojamos durante una semana en enero y desde el primer momento en que llegamos todo fue incluso a mejor! Personal muy amable y atento, especialmente los camareros del buffet. Muy agradecida por la sorpresa que me organizaron durante una cena en el día de mi cumpleaños. Playa espectacular. Sin duda espero poder volver muy pronto. ¡Gracias por todo!

un hotel con pro y algunas contras. comencemos por lo primordial en este contexto de pandemia, si bién se sugiere el uso de barbijo, la gente no lo respeta, pero el personal no media ni exige que lo utilicen.. en el momento que se respeta un protocolo es en los bares y el bufet, teniendo en uso mesa por medio, con separación prudente. la comida es exquisita! en ese sentido comimos muy bién durante la estadía. las habitaciones son amplias, con minibar, balcón, quizá un poco de olor a humedad proveniente de los muebles de madera, pero es lo de menos. el entretenimiento es bueno, aunque la gente se amontona un poco. el hotel no cuenta con salida directa a la playa, hay que caminar un poco. pero vale la pena.

Can’t recommend this hotel for staying. Riu Naiboa doesn’t deserves 4-stars: - The linen isn’t clean. There’re so much stain on bedding (photo attached). And after 11 nights staying here linen has not been replaced even once. - It seems beach towels are not washed. They are dried and immediately give away to other campers. Photos with stains and another person’s hair on a “new” towel - attached. Flagrantly. Even when I’ve tried to replace it - EACH beach towel has stains. - Room’s bar initially goes with a free water and Pepsi. For 11 days staying either a water or any other drinks hasn’t been checked/added. - Food is average, can’t find it delicious and tasty. Several times sandwiches/sausage/cheese were from yesterday and not fresh. - A mud is partially on a pool’s bottom. Should be cleaned every several weeks. Just FYI: I’ve been in 20+ countries across a globe (America/Europe/Asia).

Fui nesta epoca de pandemia por isso tudo mais difícil de acessar, mas nada que não possamos nos adaptar. A comida é boa mas todos os dias as nesmas coisas, dá p enjoar, nada excepcional.Quabto a bebidas, eu realmente não gostei. Vinho branco sem gosto nenhum e o tinto fraco tb , não tem opções é isso e pronto. NÃO tinha nenhum tipo de vinho Frizante ou Lambrusco .

The good thing about Riu naiboa is the fact that everything is close by: the pool, the restaurant, the theater, the front desk from the building where the rooms are. The bad thing about Riu naiboa is the fact that the beach is far away , and I mean very far away. You have to walk through the riu palace in order to get there. ADDENDUM: DURING MY STAY IN OCTOBER 2020, IT WAS A COMMON PRACTICE FOR THE BUFFET BREAKFAST TRAYS NOT TO BE REPLENISHED ON A TIMELY FASHION, EVEN THOUGH THE COOK WAS RIGHT THERE LOOKING AT HOW QUICKLY THE TRAYS WOULD EMPTY. SAME THING HAPPENED WITH THE DESSERT TRAYS. YOU WOULD HAVE TO RUSH TO GRAB A FEW DESSERTS BEFORE GETTING YOUR FOOD, IF YOU WANTED TO TRY SOME. One day, they had pancakes (only one left at 9am) but they have run out of syrup. I asked for some, he went back to the kitchen and came back saying that they were out of it.

Para ir a la playa, has de recorrer un camino de unos 5 minutos, pero se lleva bien puesto que tienes tiendas de souvenirs. La animación espectacular, muchos concursos, actividades, bingo de noche... Muy aconsejable visitar el hotel

My family and I just got back from a 1 week stay here! The rooms are very basic and were fresh painted! The staff is nice except for the guy on the front desk with curly hair who welcomed people and there director! There’s only one swimming pool and two restaurants when one is open the other is closed! They do not have there own beach you have to walk to the beach! We had a late flight and had to check out at 12 but they let us spend the day downstairs in the hotel and use all the Benefits! The hotel is clean and the food is good but they make the same thing almost every day so you don’t have a huge selection! What I hated was that after we checked out the director was very very rude , every one was taking food to there room and since we were no longer staying there we took our lunch to the lobby to eat and he was shouting and said to go back to the restaurant or he will kick us out! The staff is nice but all the higher powered people r so rude! Very basic hotel not at all 4 stars more like a 4 star inn ! For the price I paid I wish we booked a better hotel with more options for entertainment, food , drinks and pools and a beach! Won’t be returning here again not worth the price! And if you are going with kids there’s only one small pool! The water park they advertise is the other hotels which you have to walk to and there security stairs at you really badly ! All the pools close at 6 so they are not 24-7 and the restaurants and bars are also not 24-7 they open for a few hours each and serve a lot of cold raw food, a lot of frozen stuff! Not a good variety for people who drink they have only a few drinks which u repeat! The director got a bad attitude he should be nicer to people we didn’t go for free we paid to be there! This place really needs upgrades and more things to do !

Espectacular mi experiencia en este hotel, nunca me aburrí, siempre había recreación ( que por cierto de lo mejor todo el equipo de recreacion, show muy buenos, variados, para todos los gustos. Lo mejor amara y Lucky Lucky ayyayayyy, todo el equipo en general gracias infinitas, las actividades de la piscina, la playa, las no hes, show de magia, cuerda floja, los bailes, las riu pool Party que no te las puedes perder si vas, pd: alista tu traje jungla para una, rosa para otra, neón para otra y blanco es espectacular 😊 mayores de 18 barra libre gente muy respetuosa y divertida) la comida variada no sufrí porque como soy vegetariana encontrar que comer al viajar suele ser complicado pero en este caso noooo!!!, bar buda lo mejor hasta me hicieron. Mi propio coctel 😬, cabe resaltar que me cantaron el cumpleaños y tuvieron un obsequio para mi. Los chicos del comedor genial, bar de la playa lo máximo. Gracias famia riu naiboa

Relación calidad-precio EXCELENTE. No es un hotel 5 estrellas pero por el precio se obtiene buena comida (aunque no hay mucha variedad) y buen entretenimiento, además de contar con parque acuático. My family and I have always held riu in a very high regard always loved their resorts and felt safe staying with this resort chain but that was not the experience with the Naiboa.I was harrassed during my stay and was at one point chased up a stairwell by a friend of the bartender or a staff member and hid in a hallway from him while he looked for me. Even if you are a single female traveling with a large group of friends and family don't expect to feel safe staying here.It was supposed to be a week of fun but turned into a week of me trying to cover myself up and be as invisible as possible.And that's not even mentioning the fact that my friend was ravaged by bed bugs and a couple of us got very sick for the duration of our stay.

La atención es excelente, desde la recepción hasta el personal de aseo de preocupan por que los visitantes de relajen y lo pasen bien. Está a sólo metros de la playa. Es ideal para desconectarse de todo, se puede ir con la familia. Lo único negativo es que hay algo de ruido cuando las mucamas limpian las habitaciones y falta alguien que ofrezca bebidas en la piscina (eso sería perfecto)

Es el hotel menos lujoso de la cadena RIU y por ende más económico. Pros: La comida es deliciosa y abundante, aunque sólo hay dos restaurantes el bufet y uno temático, el trato del personal es insuperable, no se siente demasiado lleno en ningún momento.Contras: Las instalaciones son viejas, los ascensores presentan problemas frecuentemente, las habitaciones son cómodas pero antiguas, tienen problemas con el inodoro y el aire acondicionado genera olor a humedad.Si van en plan familiar con presupuesto bajo es una buena opción.

I would like to begin this review by saying that I am a supportive customer of RIU and book most of my vacations at RIU hotels.I have been to Riu Cancun, Montego Bay, Bambu twice and I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the best food and service.Unfortunately, this was not the case with my last RIU experience! I decided to take my family (wife and 2 kids) to RIU Naiboa based on the website description and images!Our arrival was a nightmare! We got to the hotel very late and once we got to the room we found bedbugs (chinches) in the bed. We called the reception and it took about 1 hour for someone to come check the room and then 2 hours to change the room. I called the reception and while complaining on the phone there was no care or customer service. I had to personally go downstairs and stand in front of the service desk until I was handed the key to a new room.We had to move our own luggage to the new room and then go back to the lobby to hand back the keys for the first room.I wish that was it, unfortunately the bad experience didn't end there.The next day we went to walk around the resort in order to get familiar with the hotel, check the pool, waterpark, restaurants and to our surprise here is what we found out:1. The water park is not inside the resort. We had to leave the hotel and walk 7/9 minutes to get to it. (Huge disappointment to our 10 year old who immediately wanted to go somewhere else)2. The hotel is not connected to the beach. This was the largest disappointment as we had to walk 15 minutes to get to it.3. The food and restaurants. There was only 1 buffett and then another restaurant that rotates between Italian and stake house. I felt like I was in Cuba. The food was not good and it was repetitive through out the stay. We ended up eating fruits only by the end.4. There is only 1 pool to share between families with kids and drunk people swearing drinking and smoking in the pool.So I would definately say that we feel extremely disappointed with the visit, the service, the food but mostly the false advertisement on your website.I have since reached out to RIU to inform them about our experience and never heard back.

After reading all the bad reviews I considered re booking with another hotel but so glad I did not me and my mum stayed here for 7 nights and it was amazing, the hotel is always clean as is your rooms, the pool is huge and has a bar on top and the service is amazing! As soon as we entered hotel they knew it was us and called our names whilst handing us a welcome drink which was nice and the staff are ever so polite especially Miguel and Anderson they would bring you drinks all the time even though it’s self service and will always make sure your table is clean. I am unsure why so many people have left such terrible reviews as I can’t imagine our experience was much different.. the only thing I would say they could improve is the options of food for vegetarian/vegan people as I was finding myself eating pasta...a lot but other than that was a great stay and holiday!

Volvimos ayer del riu naiboa punta cana, quería dejar mi opinión ya que yo leí antes de ir los comentarios de los demás.La verdad que cuando llegue no estaba la reserva hecha que igualmente yo lo había hecho por toctoc. Tuve que abonar 200 dólares como garantía para que me dieran una habitación mientras averiguaban y resolvían. Me lo devolvieron al 3 día.Me imaginé que era mejor o que contaba con las servicios. Por ejemplo no tienen bañito o latón para poder bañar a los bebés en la habitación, me dijeron que no tenía. Y nunca le había hecho una solicitud así. Fui con un bebé de 10 meses, y lo bañamos a upa pero siempre estás con la precaución que con el jabón no se te resbale y caiga de los brazos.Cosa que me llamo sumamente la atención que no había y no dejaban ni shampoo, ni crema de enjuague, yo igualmente me había llevado el que uso pero por lo general te dan en todos los hoteles y me imaginé que en un all inclusive también. Pero no.El comedor bien, las personas de servicios de allí geniales, muy amables. Las habitaciones grandes, cómoda. La limpieza bien, no excelente,y no te reponen las cosas de la heladera.En 7 días que estuvimos solamente una vez paso un chico de servicio de bar por la puerta de la habitación. Lo cual yo también me imaginaba que cuando te hacían la habitación revisaban y reponían lo que faltaba de la heladera, pero no.El snack bar, no era lo que me imaginaba, te hacían hamburguesas, panchos o papas fritas. No había servicios de snack, ni galletitas, como para una merienda.La limpieza de la piscina no era excelente.El parque de agua muy lindo, y está bueno el paseo de tiendas que tiene ya que oscurece muy temprano, a las 18 ya es de noche, podes salir a caminar y comprar recuerdos por allí.Para futuros casos visitaré otras cadenas para ver si en todas es así él servicios o son un poco más completas.

We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and the staff was super fun. The pool is really nice and has tons of space around to enjoy the sun or play games. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking from the beach and they have a restaurant (free to guests) right on the beach so lunch is about as convenient as it gets. They also have tennis courts, a water park, and events just about always. Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent, free towel, drink and sunbed on the beach and next to the pool also. Rooms are clean daily, food was super. Tiene mucho que mejorar, en todos los aspectos, desde la comida que es la misma día si dia no y las toallas, un asco te las cambian a diario pero, las lavan una vez en semana y te las ponen sucias y las de la piscina también y para colmo te lad Dan secas pero usadas por otras personas 🤮, no puedes consumir en los demás riu solo visitarlos, solo tiene un bufé y un pequeño restaurante a la carta de tres platos a elegir, un día pasta y otro carne. Uno de los días encontré un gusano en la ensalada, eso si, el personal es muy tranquilo pero muy amable.Las habitaciones son grandes no están mal, la tv. Se ven muy pocos canales, la decoración está un poco anticuada pero cada dos días te reponen el minibar y te dejan una figura de cisne hecha con toallas y flores(el primer día dejaron globos para los niños). La limpieza 👍🏼

Buen hotel aunque con carencias he estado en varios hoteles en República Dominicana , Cuba y Cancún.Lo recomendaría muchísimo si vas en grupo de amigos en plan Destroyer y conocer gente y pasarlo bien. En plan parejas recomendaría otras opciones

Desde la Llegada hasta la salida recibíamos un trato muy especial por parte del personal de esta propiedad, muy especialmente en recepción por Paulino, y cabe destacar las atenciones en el Buffett de Elieser y en el. Bar por Marino,la parte de animacion para los niños estubo un poco aburrida.La comida tanto en el Buffett como del restaurante Italiano muy buena,Dentro de la piscina no tiene bar, hay que salir, puede ser una desventaja en mi caso fue una ventaja, no acostumbro a tomar mucho cuando ando con los niños y eso me Limitaba aun mas jeje.elhotel es pequeño, pero es acogedor y tiene un toque de elegancia.todo quedaba muy cerca, comparte un parque acuático llamado Splash, que desborda mucha adrenalina, con area de toboganes para adultos y para niños.Riu Naiboa es muy buen hotel para conpartir en familia.

El hotel está super padre, la gente muy amable, muy linda, la alberca grande y super bonita, el buffet todos los días es muy variado y todo muy rico dentro del conjunto de riu tienen un pequeño parque acuático para los huéspedes y una alberca donde hacen pool party. Super cerca del mar y tienen un bar en la playa y un pasillo con tiendas de recuerdos.

El lugar es hermoso, mar con poco oleaje, arena blanca y palmeras. El hotel posee dos restaurantes dos restaurantes tipo buffet uno en la play y otro en el mismo hotel, y uno temático en el cual se debe agendar para asistir. El personal es muy amable y sobre todo simpático si van de seguro se encontrarán con super mambo y triple x que son parte del staff de entretenimiento de la piscina y playa. También hay un parque acuático. Solo hay que relájese y disfrutar.

A pesar de ser un hotel agradable, no creo que alcance a ser 4 estrellas. Las habitaciones son limpias, la comida es rica y la playa es muy buena. Por su parte, la animación es muy mala, no tiene ambiente en las noches, los shows tienen un sonido pésimo, el servicio puede mejorar bastante, la comida le hace falta variedad. En cuanto a los aspectos por mejorar de las habitaciones considero que son muy estrechas, en particular, el baño. En general, es muy difícil no pasar un buen momento y unas buenas vacaciones en Punta Cana, pero en definitiva el hotel puede mejorar.

A mi me encanta este hotel tiene muy buena onda! Es pequeño y uno de los mas alejados de la playa en cuanto a los 5 riu q hay en esta zona. Pero es el mas barato, y realmente uno de los mas lindoa estéticamente. El jardín es hermoso. Hay solo un bufete y 1 restaurante, sin embargo, la comida es variada y muy rica. Ideal para los q les gustan las cosas simples. No habra cosas exóticas ni cosas caras tipo sushi, pero todo lo q hay esta muy bien. Los shows tienen la misma calidad q los de los otros riu. Y lo bueno es q en este hotel despues se quedan cantando en vivo. La salida de atrás te lleva directo al palace bávaro, al macao, al boliche y al parque de agua y a la calle caribeña q es preciosa. Mi puntaje es 4,5 estrellas pero no se como marcar la mitad.

Worst travel experience we have ever had. Arrived to find we had been put in the room which was situated farthest from the elevator, despite my husband having told them I am not able to walk very well and have handicap plates on my car because of this. I have stage 3 heart disease and multiple chronic fractures in my pelvis, spine, and shoulder. From our room to the closest elevator was 400 yards and they refused to move us, despite me clearly being in a fragile state of health.On top of that, our bathroom had a big wet spot on the ceiling which was covered in mold. The AC in our room did not work either. We immediately informed the hotel staff of all these issues. Finally, at 2 pm on the second day they moved us- to another room which was at the very end of the hallway. Also, the second room had its own plumbing issues- I have attached a photo of the shower faucet. There were several empty rooms close to the elevator and they refused to move us to one of those rooms, despite being reminded of my disabilities. My husband and I asked for a wheelchair because there was no way I could walk that far just to get to the elevator and another 400 meters to the beach.They refused to give us a wheelchair, stating they did not have any. On the last day, they finally agreed to let us RENT a wheelchair for $50 plus a $100 deposit. But as we were agreeing to it, they changed their minds and said they were not able to do it after all.The food was terrible, with very poor selection and quality.The service was horrendous. We were told at check-in we could enjoy the food and amenities at all the Riu resorts, but later found out that was not the case when we were asked to leave one of the resorts in the middle of our meal. When we asked why, we were told "you are at Riu Naiboa, you are at the bottom".The fridge in the room was empty upon arrival. They stocked the fridge the next day- with 2 Pepsi bottles and that's it. I called them and asked them to stock it again and they said they would only stock it once every 2 days. So that means they allowed us 1/2 bottle of Pepsi per day. Not even that when you consider it was stocked once with 2 Pepsis during our entire trip. They took my money and were no hlep at all, despite what I would consider some urgent health needs being ignored. We have stayed at other Riu resorts in the past, and did not have these issues. In fact, the RIu Bambu is where we had stayed in Punta Cana in the past. Because of Riu's utter disregard for my well being and safety and the exceptionally poor service this trip, we will never stay at a Riu resort again. We travel a lot (a trip about every 3 months), and there are always choices of where to stay. I will choose to avoid Riu wherever I travel in the future, and there is absolutely nothing that can change my mind about that.

We booked online for a 2 day stay, just to bridge us over until our condo was ready.We had it paid in full prior to leaving and we used a TD Visa debut without a hitch.When we arrived by private taxi, no one was there to assist with our bags, unlike all other resorts we have gone to.We went to the front desk and was met by the front desk manager.He asked for our credit card that we booked with as they have to do,a $2 refundable charge, just to make sure card was still good.He tried the card several times and it came back as declined.We asked if we could use another card and he said no, you have to use card you booked with.We called our bank to see what the issue was, but they were not getting anything at their end and they never.We asked to talk to the manager and he said I been here 10 years as front desk manager, do you have any money in the account?We should him our bank balance, but wouldn’t do anything.We asked him to call the reservation number maybe they could try the charge as it was done before.He called some number and said only can cancel reservation and rebook with another card.We called the companY regarding our condo and they couldn’t get us in that day, but will do it tomorrow.They recommended a hotel near the condo, which we called and paid using the same TD Debit Visa, and we have used it several times at ATM.We will never stay at another Riu hotel ever again.Tourism is down here in Punta Cana, some resorts closed.I guess this hotel doesn’t have a slow down.

The scenery is very nice and the pool is close with a gym around the corner. The food is pretty good with liquor in the rooms. Now on to the part that I find disappointing.The bed is very uncomfortable, the pillows are worse. The rooms are quite small, the television is very small as well. The a/c doesn’t work, even though we had someone come to our room and tell us of the patio door opens it shuts off. Fine, we kept it closed for 4 hours and it still won’t turn on.I highly suggest that you choose another hotel chain to stay at. I still have 5 more days here and I’m regretting every minute of it. 😡

Lovely hotel and facilities. The only downsides are that (1) they allow Blue Travel Partner Services to sell excursions from the hotel. Avoid at all costs. The hotel gives you great value for money. You will lose out on that for the day by getting ripped off by Blue Travel trips; and (2) they only allow one device per guest to be allowed to connect to their WiFi (a small complaint, in fairness). Staff very friendly. Hotel Manager agreed that we were not given near sufficient value by Blue Travel.

If you have a choice go to another hotel.Service below criticism, lack of basic knowledge of English.Customer service does not exist.Dirt everywhere.Food without a choice, the same every day.The ubiquitous stench of cigarettes.You can smoke almost everywhere.Lost time and money.RIU does not care about its image completely.After a terrible dinner, the waiter did not deign to ask for anything to drink, I asked the manager if he could serve me if his employees could not.As a gift we received two bottles of wine without corkscrew.This is embarrassing.This hotel is less than zero

Was a little worried after some if the reviews we read before going.Took dome dettol surface wipes and used them to clean surfaces but i think i was over cautious. The sink,toilet and shower area we clean and kept stocked with bits we needed. I agree that the shower divide is old, cracked and has water in it causing green algae to grow, but the cleaners cant get to it. The screens all need replacing really. Our cleaner was lovely and did everything she could to help to make our stay comfortable.Having read reviews we also decided to not use the room bar, but didnt need to anyway we drunk all we needed downstairs before going up. We dis drink thw bottled wster provided and other soft drinks in the fridge.The bar downstairs couldve done with a wider range of local drinks, no baileys (or alternative)for a nightcap. Gin was a bit raw too.Lots of pre mixed cocktails which was fine but on was served on one occassion a pina colada which had clearly curdled. Changed with no problem but was told it was probably sedimentfrom thw bottlm. (Suggedts it shouldve been cleaned first then) .Refused to use pool as the water was disgusting, murky and scum on the top. I appreciate after heavy use its going to get that waybut as an ex lifeguard with responsibility for the pool cleanliness i know there was still no need, and from a h&s perspective,for it to be like that. Water should be crystal clear and all areas scrubbed. To me the pool is probably the culprit for upset stomachs.The food was well presented and wide choice,a bit more consideration needed for plainer eaters on a daily basis and there was a day or two struggled to find something to eat, but didnt go hungry. Waiters all lovely and friendly. Chefs happy to cook meat to your specification and omelette with what you asked in them. Had an issue with southern fried chicken not being cooked thoroughlybut following wek were cooked through and delicious.The hotel spray for mossies but not often enough,first week was ok but second weeķ got badly bitten despite protection.Would go again.

This has to be the nastiest place I’ve ever been to! First off, first thing I noticed going to my room for the first time is the smell! Literally smells like a musty basement. Second, thank goodness a few family members advised me to bring my own towels because the ones they supply you with, STINK! the pool water feels like 20 people peed all at once! Not referring at all in 90 degree weather... And around 5pm they kick everyone out of the pool to dump buckets of chlorine in it but what got me was how they didn’t even wait for people to get there things to leave before they started dumping it in...the smell was so strong I could barely breathe and it burned my eyes so bad my vision went blurry. The food is awful! I ate fruit the entire time. Needless to say I will never go back. And I don’t want to see a managers comment on her about how sorry they are when they did not do one thing for us at the time we complained. Please think twice people!! Oh and how could I forget!!! The mattresses aren’t even mattresses!! You’re sleeping on a dirty box spring I sware to god! My back was ruined for days! I hope I saved someone from making a big mistake and ruining there vacation. YOUR WELCOME

The staff are very attentive. Well the cleaning, bar and restaurant staff. The entertainment team are a little pushy and don't run a kids club. We were told by one couple that one of the entertainment team offered to babysit (for a fee) so they could go to a pool party.The shops are a rip off on resort and overcharge for everything.

I’ll start with the good stuff. the entertainment staff is great and in general the staff goes out of their way to make sure your stay is good. the people in the restaurant always remembered my family and had a table ready for us. Personally I would’ve loved to say at Riu Palace since it was nicer with a minibar in the pool and more up to date. I didn’t really feel in place considering that not many spoke English but they tried their best. the pool is okay it closes too early for my liking but I understand it is for cleaning. the bar is okay as well I just wish the Pina colada’s were more like a slushy. The food is okay but repetitive, not much flavor and pasta is very watery. One thing that really didnt make my stay as pleasant is the rooms more specifically the bathrooms. our room lights and toilet kept breaking. the shower has mold growing in it and the toilet rarely flushed. beds are kinda hard and the tv is very small. Housekeepingtook or misplaced my sons expensive perfume and expensivering which ruined his trip. The beach has a lot of seaweed which is nothing they can fix. some of the employees made me feel uncomfortable. and everything is so overpriced so their is nothing to do all day besides swim and is boring after one day especially for kids. one of the worst trips I’ve gone on, please if you can invest in a different hotel do so

This property is well past it's prime.My husband and I along with eighteen other friends and family spent a week here. During our time the water shut off for at least an hour four times. The air conditioning in our room worked properly 50% of the time. We requested a fan and were told that they didn't have any.We were offered another room, but we had up graded to a jr suite and no others were available.That wouldn't have helped anyway because the entire resort ac went down for two days. Our mattress was so old that we could feel the slats in it. The glass block in the shower was at least half cracked and had algae growing in it. Both of us are having sinus issues.The manager Alejandro was dismissive to our travel companion.The staff were friendly and hard working.Waiters El Manor and Santo were especially enjoyable.Our maids were excellent.If it weren't for the staff I would give this resort zero stars.

This hotel is just a little over an hour drive from the Laroma Airport.I am giving this hotel a 2 star review because we had to change room 3 times during our 7 days stay. 1st room had a very unpleasant smell but we had to stay for 1 notecoz there's no other room available for us to moved. The 2nd room was better until we had uninvited roaches. This hotel needs a lot of updating specially the bathroom, otherwise the staff andfood selection was great. Everyone is super friendly.

Super clean but ok sized pool and miles away from the beach . There is no bar at the pool. Only one bar is open at a time. The food is very good with decent variety. The beach volleyball court is in a terrible place and one side is shorter than the other. It is the closest to the waterpark out of the 5 resorts there, but be prepared to walk...walk...and walk some more to get to the beach.

The hotel and staff are great and the beach is out of this world but a word of advice.Dont leave money around in your room the maidtook 20 dollar's one day from my daughter's room then on another occasion 100 dollar's.The second time when I eventually found out and confronted the maid she said it is customary to leave a daily tip ! Theft or genuine taken your pick but apart from that worth the effort.

Good hotel.Buffet food was just like any other resort in the area with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bars offered a variety of drinks for adults and children. I really enjoyed the Michael Jackson show during our first night at the hotel, the pool and the water park for both kids and adults. There are many stores available to buy souvenirs or items needed. The reason why I'm taking a star off is because of the mosquitoes in the area where the stage is. I understand it is an open area but lamps or systems to reduce the amount of mosquitoes in the area can be done. I was lucky I brought a repellant.

The food was very good,and u really have from where to choose!! I brought my son and mother for March break and we had a good time. The hotel itself was disappointing in comparison to other Riu’s that I’ve stayed at. I had higher expectations because of the name and was disappointed with a few things.1. Rooms. The rooms are dated and the bathroom was very small. My son is 6 and in a wheelchair and this hotel doesn’t have accessible rooms. Because he’s still small I was able to manage with the shower. We had to change rooms because the first room the beds were so bad. They were leaning to the side and it wasn’t comfortable or safe. We also had to get the shower head changed as it was spraying water everywhere but inside the shower. Many reviewers complained about the ac not working while ours was overworking it was an icebox every time we came back to the room having to shut off everything including the ceiling fan. By the end of the trip I had the flu due to the insane climate change in my room.2. Food. There are only 2 restaurants on the resort. We never got a chance to eat at one because it was first come first serve and they were always full with an hour wait. When we did get there early enough to wait only 30 minutes the menu wasn’t very appealing so we went to the buffet. The options were very minimal. There are two hot tables both had the exact same options with the exception of meat or fish. But be ready to be eating rice and beans all week. One night they had salmon the night we had a chance to eat at the other restaurant but chose the buffet instead because of the salmon and it was delicious the only day the food was great. my son pretty much ate fries all week. I definitely expected more from a Riu hotel.3. Ease and convenience. Make sure you have enough cash on you and don’t need an atm machine. Most hotels have one in the lobby. This one does not. You have to walk off the resort and down towards the beach. There’s one near the shops on the strip. Very inconvenient if you need cash fast. The elevators are tiny. One family of four at a time pretty much. Once my son’s wheelchair was in there wasn’t much room for anyone else. When the shows are done and everyone is trying to get back to their rooms all at once it could be a long wait.4. Family friendliness. The entertainment was nice and the water park is great! They had a nice coffee and drink selection (non-alcoholic) and a variety of slides and a kiddie area which my son loved. It’s a short walk away and open to all Riu Naiboa guests from 10-5pm. The view of the pool and garden walkway is nice and well kept. There’s also a little play area with slides and swings for smaller children.Overall:Being a Riu class member and seeing other Riu resorts I have to say this was very disappointing. I expected more from Riu. The staff was very friendly and worked very hard with what they have any requests made were accommodated to the best if their abilities and that’s why I gave 3 stars. The hotel itself needs work. I wouldn’t come back and be comfortable here nor would I recommend it to others. Maybe I’m use to a five star versus four stars but I didn’t think the difference would be that great.

This was my first time to Punta Cana and we chose a resort that didn't sit on the beach and we didn't know what to expect. Turns out, it was a great idea!! It was like a 3 minute walk from the resort to the beach. On the way there are many little shops and a restaurant at the end of the walkway that is apart of riu naiboa. Which makes it more enjoyable, you don't have to walk all the way back to the resort to get a drink, eat or use the restroom. The pool was never crowded, the beach wasn't crowded compared to other resort beachfronts.The only thing I would change is more restaurants and more variety. A swim up bar would of been on, the website shows one. But there isn't one. There is a swim park you have access to. But you can't have any body jewelry in/on and I didn't want to take my belly button ring out, so we left. Also, this is just me personally, but a buffet all day would be super convenient.We had a great time at the scape park excursion, it was approximately 7:30-4 and absolutely worth your time and money. I would recommend water shoes for the beach, and any excursion.Every room had a balcony, with a drying rack which was super convenient for swimsuits or shoes that needed dried.There is a picture of the inside hallway, which is covered and I preferred that because it kept the rooms cooler.There's a picture of a tall sign with many different things and directions. They are all over for you assistance.You can walk all the way from riu naiboa to the end of the "riu's" on a walk path down by the beach. There are other ships at the other end, very similar to the ones by the resorts.Depending on which resort you stay at you can gain access to other resorts, pools, bars and restaurants.Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!

Even though the hotel is a bit tired, the staff were fantastic reception, bar and waiting and cleaning staff were all helpful and friendly. The aircon in the room wasn't working we told reception and while we were in the restaurant it was fixed. Room was cleaned with fresh sheets and towels daily all in all it was a fantastic holiday

Horrible, precarias muchas de sus instalaciones, la Comida insípida, servicio de limpieza muy mal, Zacarías (uno de los recepcionista) mal educado, borde y desagradable... Yo no sé lo recomiendo a nadie sinceramente y que viaje con Jolidei tampoco. Las fotos es de cómo nos encontramos la habitación y si no les damos dinero no nos la limpian y así casi todos los días vaya todo incluido..

They don't careif the fridge or the TV is broken don't bother to call or tell anyone .room descent , closet smells.The food pretty much the same all week long.U cant find free space beside a pool if u don't wake up 7 in the morning .One day I went down at 7 and I was lucky to find two bed for my family 4.the beach is a good 10 min walk ,wake up earlyto find shelter .the gym is very very rustyomg :)to be liked by the drink servers u need to tip.don't change Canadian in the resort very bad exchange .Everything is really expensive .U can visit the other resorts but u can't use their pool even we were told that we can.we didn't get sick this time not like after Cuba last year so that's a good thing.at night drunk people everywhere. Bring lots of mosquitorepellentand sun screen .Enjoy.

Nice staff well trained, polite. Beautiful place. Need to control more mosquito or flea trouble. All guests complaining but a little bug spray and it was tolerable. Food excellent in air conditioned eating area. Entertained animation alive and fun group. A four star hotel. Didn't expect a five star. So we enjoyed our stay. Guests rowty late hours has nothing to do with Riu Naiboa.

This is an affordable resort. The rooms are nice in size and cleanliness. The food is great and very diverse. The beach is very nice as well. The best part is that it has a water park and it is included in the reservation. Kids love the water park; it has an area for kids only and another area for older kids and adults. And let's not forget that they also have a nice club named Pacha, which is very cool (besides the not that good DJ). I had an awesome time with my family. I reccomend it if you want a fun place to go with your friends and family.

Carlos and the other Front desk associates and bartenders were very nice and spoke English. Housekeeping and buffet staff not so much English. Thank God for Google translate.The resort does not really cater to handicapped individuals.No wheelchairs. Hard to get a room close to the elevator. But you get what you pay for. As a travel agent I probably won't be sending any of my clients here. Unless they want something really no frills. On the upside there is a liquor dispenser in the room with light and dark rum, vodka and gin. But no ice machines that I could find, which I really need.

The staff was great, nearly always friendly and charming. But at our last day, some guy at the reception let us pay 10 dollars for using the towels after checking out and took the money for himself. The food was "okay", it happened that there was some food out before 9pm and most of the hot meals were only warm. But the taste wasn't so bad after all. The beach is fabulous and only 2min away. Okay for our first time in the domenican Republic but not again.

The entertainment staff was amazing! They were my favorite part. They are funny and friendly. The beach is very close so you can sit by the beach or the pool but I personally liked the pool better because of the activities and the staff. The bartenders were also great and very funny. I look forward to coming back again because I had an amazing time as my first time in 🇩🇴

Great service honestly. Made up for a few inconveniences we experienced. First room we got smelled pretty bad but they moved us right away to another one. Great breakfast. Lunch and dinner pretty good too. Drinks also great and all included! Loved the bar staff. Will be back there. Me and my best friend had an awesome time. There's the pacha club right beside the hotel. The pool is pretty nice but they should have a wet bar to make it perfect. We must go up in the bar to get drinks when we are at the pool. The beach is so close and there is the hotel bar a d restaurant there, so no need to pay for anything while relaxing at the beach. They provide towels and chairs, all free of charge. Recommend it for the ones looking for a good hotel, but not the most luxurious one.

This hotel is horrible if I could give no stars I would. We arrived early to the hotel and were told to enjoy lunch at the buffet. We then went to see the food and there were flies everywhere. It was very unappetizing and the food was basic. We then went to our rooms where we were greeted by an awful smell and wooden like mattresses. Our toilet would not flush as it was clogged and they would not fix it. We also did not get any of the vouchers promised upon arrival. Also at dinner the power went out for a good 5 min. We upgraded to Riu Bambu which is amazing.

Fantastic Hotel with everything you could need. The pools were fantastic and there was always someone around to offer to bring you a drink- all the staff were so friendly. They really could not be faulted! There was even a small club which was good fun. Always something to do if you were in the mood. During the day there were exercise classes such as aqua aerobics, stretching or volleyball. The beach is do close that the pool literally leads on it- just bliss! The food was delicious and so fresh, especially the fruit was out of this world. I particularly enjoyed the passion fruit and pineapple. All meals were great though, good themed restaurants so that you felt you were getting different experiences rather than the same thing every night but even the buffet had different options and themes each night too. Would definitely recommend.

Even though the hotel is a bit tired, the staff were fantastic reception, bar and waiting and cleaning staff were all helpful and friendly. The aircon in the room wasn't working we told reception and while we were in the restaurant it was fixed. Room was cleaned with fresh sheets and towels daily all in all it was a fantastic holiday

Nice little budgetfriendly hotel with access to the same gorgeous beach as the Riu Palace Bavaro, Riu Palace Macao, Riu Palace Punta Cana and Riu Bambu. Just a 5 min. walk down Caribbean Street (inside the hotel complex) with lots of shops. Also free unlimited access to Splash Water World inside the complex.

There was no wifi in any of the rooms, only in common areas and it was hit or miss.
